Kobel is at least a top 5 goalkeeper in the Bundesliga, he also has the 15th highest market value of all goalkeepers (according to Tranfermarkt) and according to Kicker he is the 2nd best goalkeeper in the Bundesliga this season so far (ahead of Sommer).

Finishing is one of Musiala's biggest strengths. He is an amazing goalscorer in Bundesliga. I think nerves got to him here or maybe the need to carry this team on his own exhausted him too much and led to a loss of concentration. You also forgot to mention Moukoko, who is a generational striker talent (but not a classic striker like Klose). Germany has also some other promising strikers like Paris Brunner. I don't worry about the offense, but there are no world-class defenders/defensive midfielders in sight and shockingly Germany also fails to produce elite goalkeepers at the moment. Flick should definitely be sacked, but the bigger problem is the manager (Bierhoff) and the whole structure. DFB would need a complete restructure (maybe by someone like Rangnick) and then they should sign a coach like Tuchel or Schmidt (Befinca Lissabon). The whole talent development is pretty abysmal, Germany has no clue how to develope world-class defenders/defensive midfielders/to some degree strikers.

Very good start to the season for Germany (compared to expectations). Hopefully a sign that the coaching changes work. The 3rd best woman was 11th and Preuß didn't even compete. Great to finally see some new and somewhat young names. I hope that Grotian will get a chance this season. Only negative so far is the absurd result of grandma Kinnunen. Huge wasted chance for Japan. They still have everything in their own hands though. A draw against Spain will probably be enough.

On Paper Germany is lightyears Ahead of Uruguay and probably a Top 6 Team. This Team again failed thanks to the Coach and their Mentality. Everyone Knows that chemistry is More Important than Individual class at Nation Team Level (Italy won Euros Without any World class players) and instead of Picking a Formation early on and Stick with it, Flick didnt Even find his Team until the Start of the tournament. Playing Süle, Schlotterbeck and Havertz is Pretty much braindead. I Predicted Germany to be eliminated during group stage, But them failing again hasnt anything to do with the Quality of the Squad. None of the Japanese players (of Maybe 1 at Most) would make the german Team.

No idea how many athletes Germany will send exactly, But My prediction is that it will be more than in 2021, thanks to Team sports. I think there is a Good chance that Germany will Qualify in mens football, womens Football and at least one out of mens Handball/mens basketball (and mens/womens hockey). In Terms of medals i don’t Expect any improvements. I think the negative Trend will continue and Germany will win roughly 35 medals. For Germany to win more medals again, the officials and politicians would need to wake up and finally create a more efficient system (by learning from other countries).

Would only be logical, given their financial situation, but Italy and Spain would rather beg the EU for more money than to cut down on nonsensical expenditures like elite sports. Finally! Ebert might finally start to fulfill her potential. Not surprising that this happened only after Germany hired a proper coach. The lack in quality coaches might be one of the biggest issues in german sports. Extremely dominant performance by her, she beat Volpi 15:9 and Errigo 15:11. Also encouraging 5th place for Sauer who almost beat Volpi in the quarterfinal (she lost 10:11). 6th place for 16 yo Stutchbury from GB was also super impressive. Of course we have to remember that Russia didn't compete.
