3 dead, 365,000 homes without power.... national emergency declared and all public services and almost all places of employment are closed across the whole island. Schools will remain closed tomorrow. I am returning to Ireland by ferry tomorrow morning from Scotland. Hoping it won't be cancelled as the storm is coming this way tonight.. It's worse not being at home during this in a way, you feel the worry more when you aren't there and just relying on updates. The storm is expected to hit my home place in the next hour so am keeping in contact with family to see how things are.

Yes, same thing happens to me when I access it on my phone (on my laptop it's ok). I probably should have hidden the videos in spoilers to prevent that from happening. In the meantime you will find playlists for the contests on Youtube (I think only the first edition is missing). I don't have any lists of the Festival of Music songs however, I guess we could start adding those to the history thread too for future contests. I seriously need to overhaul that TISC history thread and make it neater and add more info..... after the old website went down I just wanted to add the history on here ASAP so it wasn't lost. Unfortunately we lost some songs from the first edition in the move..... Romania, Slovakia and Lebanon. No one seems to remember these.

I think Northern Ireland have dropped into the unseeded pot, the defeat to Norway didn't help. I hate seedings in play-offs btw. Seedings should only be used for group allocation, all second place teams should be there on merit in the play-offs after that.
