Road to TISC Annual - Mexico 2019
We conclude our "Road to TISC Annual 2019" series now by remembering a duo of TISC artists from Mexico, our host nation, who have both made 2 appearances at the contest. First though we are travelling to the Mediterranean island of Malta where we will find Red Electrick, the pop-rock band who first appeared at TISC Annual 2014. 62 points and 20th place was to be the final result for their song "The Runaway".
Red Electrick came back one year later at TISC Annual 2015 in Denmark. This time they claimed 85 points with their entry "Young Again", enough for a respectable 14th place finish.

Mexico - Santana
Santana won silver at TISC Open 2016 in Lithuania
What better way to end our "Road to TISC Annual 2019" series by remembering our hosts' most successful TISC artist. That of course is Santana and he too is a 2-time TISC artist. Santana debuted at the inaugural TISC back in 2013 where his enty "Corazon Espiando", featuring Mana bagged an impressive 128 points, enough for 7th position.
However, even better was to come when Santana returned to the contest 3 years later at TISC Annual 2016. This time, his entry, "Smooth", featuring Rob Thomas, racked up a massive 176 points, taking home the silver medal for Mexico. This remains the host nation's most successful result to date and established Santana as one of the true greats when it comes to TISC.
Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you Santana. Best of luck to Mexico in all the preparations for the Grand Final on Saturday and see you all at the Opening Ceremony tomorrow
