God damn it....
2nd period doesn't look good...
-
We have 4-1 lead over Japan with 9 minutes to go on 2nd period...
That 5-0 win over ROC was mentally important, looking so good atm -
Latvia can fight so well & Kalnins was on fire! Took so long to get the 1-0 lead.

Congratulations @Finnator123 Finnish girls performed absolutely great today! Amazing.
BTW, do you know how's Jasmi Joensuu doing after what happened to her in sprint? Any interviews with her online? After this fall, and all her reactions, I have just become a big fan of her, I must admit.
Apparently she's ready to go back home after the accident with her ski pole...

but dear lord, if a 17 years old kid is the best player of the team and it is not even close, is quite worrying
I wouldn't say so, even if you're joking :D
He made the right call by choosing Finland & TPS to develop his skills. He'll be TOP 5 draft pick for sure.
Ramsay has work to do. -
Good start for Finland! Especially our 1st line(Also playing together in Ufa in the KHL) getting points.

yeah and this is the punition for a completely wasted 2 man powerplay...
but what a shot this was for Altonen
True. At least your first goal was scored by Slafkovsky! Still undrafted. Promising player.

FINALLY A WIN!
QUATERFINALS AGAINST JAPAN! GOD DAMN IT Seriously, they've been so good.
1 hour ago, NearPup said:Really disappointing to see Finland fall on it's face during this tournament, pre-pandemic it really seemed like they were catching up (and tbh they are the rightful winner of the 2019 worlds).
and have a brutal arms race with each other, and it seems almost impossible for anyone else to keep up.
The pain everytime someone even mentions the 2019 worlds... xd
All the blame falls to Mustonen according to the finnish hockey fans. It was too obvious, that Mustonen was upset to Räty about something. There really wasn't any good reasons not to select her to the roster. And the sudden family crisis & departure back to Finland while Toivola became our next head coach way too soon... That didn't help either.
Against Switzerland... well, they scored their goals during powerplay... Finland just needs to get it's shit together against ROC. No stupid penalties.
Holy shit, those power rankings are killing me
China's though...

Out of every team, Canucks just seems to be the right one So many swedes there, past & present
He's now 2nd GM from the nordic countries, right? 2nd from Europe, i reckon.
One of the weakest Olympic tournament for Finland...
Räty getting left out, Mustonen forced to leave due to family...
Oh dear...
Let's go Niskanen! Already a medal & that's not even his main event!
Our most likely Captain Marko Anttila is still in isolation...
He had COVID like 2 weeks ago, but he needs CT-values to be above 40 for 2 days in a row or above 35 for 3 days in a row. Testing happens every 24 hours.
What's even better? Chief Physician of Olympic Team Finland even said, that there's no medical reasons to keep him isolated anymore... This is very annoying. He's pretty much our best 4th liner & a beast while team is short-handed.
We can kick Canada's ass on Men's hockey. Why can't we do it on Women's(Okay, 2 wins over CAN but still)? We seriously need to change something. Like we should allow Women's team to practice with multiple U20/U18 teams.
Also we need to switch up the coaching, which we did a bit too soon (Truly hope that everything's ok with Mustonen & his family.)
New head coach, new way to play hockey.

I guess that's one excuse...
Just now, Jan Linha said:What the hell is going on? Does have a limit? Or their level uncreased so much or level of other teams has dropped? They defeated 12:1, team that won bronze in Sochi. Now, leading already 7:1 against Finland, bronze medalist from Pyeongchang and more than 20 mins to go ....
Literally nobody's surprised how strong Canada is. Our Team is in the same exact position where Men's national team was a few decades ago.
We're still searching for a way to beat Canada & US. In the same tournament.
