    Berecz stays in 2nd place with a 9th and 4th placement today, this obviously won't be as easy as it seemed yesterday. Scott won both races today, he's ready to win that gold again.

    I was very disappointed so I forgot to say this: Montano is a legend. When he stepped in as a substitute I knew that we are in trouble, and the +1 and +2 he achieved for Italy in the middle of the match was really important for them to keep the match close. @phelpsI am rooting for you in the final, Montano winning this gold at the age of 42 would be a huge achievement, and Italy needs this win after the individual events.

    I didn't pay attention to that, so I am not sure. It's probably because of Kenderesi, that 4th place hurts, especially when we will win so few medals in the pool compared to Rio.

    Holy shit, we actually did it. v 10-9 First defeat for the US at the Games since 2008.

    Really disappointing defeat for Tóth... I doubt that we will win a medal in judo now.

    Here we go, we have to win this first match against the Interestingly enough the last time we were in an Olympic men's sabre team event (2008), the beat us in the QF.

    Apparently Milák torn his swimsuit and had to change it a couple of minutes before the final.

    Considering what happened to Osaka and Biles yesterday, and the Chinese nightmare the day before, I really want 200 fly to be done with without any craziness. I am nervous, just like in 2012 before Gyurta's final, I hope similarly nothing goes very wrong.

    I think people just assumed that Biles will sweep a second time and maybe overtake Latynina as the most successful female gymnast (in terms of gold medals), which definitely won't happen now. A lesson should be learned that people shouldn't declare stuff too early, Biles is still behind not just Latynina, but also Caslavska, Keleti, Comaneci, and couple of other Soviets, and in terms of total medals she's even more down the list.

    takes back the lead. Maybe this was an incredible 4D chess move from Biles, she confused the Russians so much that aren't able to handle the pressure now.
