  1. Semifinal for the Canada Sevens v v Big victory for Ireland, they will make up some ground in their quest for a top 4 finish. Australia will move into an Olympic qualifying position. Argentina has a big chance to put some distance against the chasing pack and perhaps make a major cut into New Zealand's lead. Uruguay must be quite happy about that.
  2. 200m backstroke is unlikely due to scheduling conflicts
  3. Eventing Tonimbuk CCI4*-S Results The following have achieved CCI4*-S MER result (still require CCI4*-L) David Middleton (WEC In The Money) Only three riders finished, but two of them already got the CCI4*-S MER.
  4. Pretty much. With the United States pretty much qualifying through the World Series nothing is really stopping Canada from winning the quota at the RAN Sevens.
  5. Not a good event for already down into the Shield where the best they can finish is 13th. They can potentially fall out of Olympic qualification position if or perform well enough here. Of course with four more stops the fight for the Olympic quota is far from over.
  6. Any word on which events McIntosh will compete in at the Olympics? I guess the biggest question mark from an individual event perspective is whether or not she will compete in the 200m free as the final overlaps with the 400 IM final. Five individual events would be very hard to compete, but if any swimmer is to pull it off in 2024 it would be her. The 4x200m free overlaps with the 200m fly final, but it's hard to think she would miss the final. Another question is whether she competes in the 4x100m free which overlaps with the 400m free event. Losing Sanchez hurts our depth, but we may still be good enough to medal.
  7. Semifinals for the Canada Sevens v v is in the Olympics. can join them if they win the title and the winner of finishes 6th.
  8. Nice to see Oksana still winning World Cup medals. I hope she continues into her 50s where she could be the same age as some of her competitor's grandma
  9. The men lost out in the tie-breaker and will compete in the bowl
  10. The quarterfinals are now set for the Canada Sevens held in Vancouver. New Zealand, Australia and the United States could potentially qualify to the Olympics by the end of this event. New Zealand just needs to avoid Great Britain or Fiji finishing four points ahead of them while Australia/United States can qualify if they get nine more points than Great Britain and Fiji
  11. Athletics update Bolivia has qualified in men's marathon (Hector Garibay) Ecuador has qualified in men's 20km walk (David Hurtado)
  12. 2023 Baltic States Championships - Riga (LAT) Meet Results No new OQTs were achieved

This means none of the British riders could get an MER and some athletes which got >67% also did not get MER because Wessels didn't give them a >67% score Dressage Lier CDI4* Results The following have achieved 2/2 MER result Lina Uzunhasan (Furst Fabelhaft Uzn) Justina Vanagaite (Nabab) The following have achieved 1/2 MER result Therese Nilshagen (Dante Weltino OLD) Juliette Ramel (Buriel K.H.) 14. Looking at the start lists for the Baltic States Championships only two swimmers have entry times that are under the OQT, Kotryna Teterevkova (women's 100m and 200m breaststroke) and Eneli Jefimova (women's 100m breaststroke). A few other athletes have entry times close to the OQT. Will they be among the first to qualify to the Olympics? Results can be seen here. As for the other event, MM Maribor, start lists haven't been posted yet. The event page can be found here.
  15. Eventing Quillota (Feb 17-19) CCI4*-S Results The following have achieved CCI4*-S MER result (still require CCI4*-L) Ronald Zabala (Wundermaske) Not a good performance for Chile. Only one other person finished, Bittner who didn't have a good time in the cross-country portion.

  17. Thanks, I've updated the original post. I misread the jumping penalties. Didn't 10th fail because they got more than 16 jumping penalties?
  18. I remember that for the 2020 Olympics, the approved events for the 2019 Worlds were also approved events for the Olympics (provided they occurred during the qualification period), but I can't find if that's true for the 2024 Olympics. I guess we'll find out rather quickly if athletes from the Pro Swim Series in Fort Lauderdale appear on the Olympic qualification list.
  19. Eventing Montelibretti CCI4*-S Results The following have achieved CCI4*-S MER result (still require CCI4*-L) Alex Hua Tian (Jilsonne Van Bareelhof) Sanne de Jong (Enjoy) Nicolas Wettstein (Meyer's Happy) Manuel Grave (Carat de Bremoy) Lea Siegl (Van Helsing P) Katrin Khoddam-Hazrati (Florentine) Heidi Bratlie Larsen (Sr Lonestar My Hunter) Fabio Fani Ciotti (Bolt MCR) Nice to see a variety of nations competing at the same event. Speaking of which I still can't find the results from Quillota that was held a couple of weeks ago
  20. Jumping Doha CSIO4* Results The following have achieved 3/3 MER result Abdulrahman Bader Alrajhi (Babalou HD) Khaled Almobty (Equine America Spacecake) Ramzy Al Duhami (Untouchable) Abdullah Mohd Al Marri (James V.D. 22. have qualified their first athletes. They will compete in Equestrian (Team Jumping)
  23. Congrats to both nations. It's not over for Egypt, they can still qualify via the Nations Cup which will be depleted of eligible nations. A very possible scenario could have Egypt facing just Argentina and Uzbekistan for the final quota.
  24. Yeah, at this stage I'm hoping at least three Oceania nations make the top 4, more so I just want Samoa to finally make the Olympics. Europe is in the odd position of having good depth, but not having the top teams which hurts it in this qualification method.
  25. Looking at the startlist, Jordan seems to have withdrawn from the team event too. Two quotas will go to .
