  1. Season opener coming up on the Olympic track in China starting with the two-man race on the early session of Friday, then 4 man races at the weekend.. Long way to travel for the low-budget women's teams who stay in Europe or North America for training, so we will be getting one 2-man race and two 4-man races, with the extra women's days to be made up later once we get onto the European circuit.   23. And that is the whole thing. A single EU team would destroy whole sports like handball, rowing, both canoeing, ski jumping etc et etc.
  24. Not the case for the hockey teams, the women’s football team or the rugby 7s squad, which are always subject to lobbying.
  25. Well, your obvious flaw is that under a pan- flag, about 20 of the 27 pre- countries would never send any sportspeople to the Olympics at all.
