Sono fortunati che la Germania abbia perso così tanto terreno nel biathlon femminile negli ultimi 20 anni. Se Giacomel fosse in forma fantastica e vincesse 3 o 4 medaglie d'oro nel biathlon, non solo ci farebbe vincere l'oro, ma toglierebbe anche qualche opportunità alla Francia.

A Torino ci sono state 5 medaglie d'oro, un ottimo risultato considerando solo 11 medaglie complessive, ma allora c'era molta meno competizioni di adesso.
