I was at the US Championships last year in Soldier Hollow.  Pretty fun event. 
 
This picture gives a good indication for the range and penalty loop.  It is a little funky.  I am sure the Russian media and fans, who have not stopped about the horrors of Canmore will only have terrible things to say about another North American venue.  If you look in the middle of the picture, there is a little rise with flags on it, that is the entry to the range/finish area.  There is a very sharp right hand turn into the range, with the exit to the range coming back towards the right of the picture.  The entrance to the penalty loop is just off the range, so there will be some traffic in that congested area.  Elevation, plus some decent climbs will make for some good races.

Canada's Brendan Green and Rosanna Crawford, who are engaged, both retired after the Canmore races.  
 
Also, The President of Belarus has said that because of the poor performances by the teams he wants Domracheva and Scardino to come back and race again.  
"We'll buy a thousand pairs, and choose the best. The main thing that they were running. And rifles will give them, machine guns and a rocket launcher... whatever. Only that they were engaged and running, and not disgrace the country as our athletes perform at this year. It's a shame. Such a shame more was not" 

I might be attending next weeks World Cup in Utah!

What a race from our girls Oja and Tomingas did a really good job, especially Tuuli who I have never seen skiing so well before. Talihärm was better last year, easily the best of our girls, now she needs to catch up, but she still did her job. Gaim is sadly not even close to the rest of the team, even without the penalty loops I don't think we had finished higher than maybe 8th.
 
This was Estonia's women's relay's first top 10 since 1993! 26 years! (8 out of 9 teams with 12 minutes loss lol) This clearly is the actual best ever really.

I know Estonia is probably gonna fall out of the top-10 again here, but I find it so awesome that they're this high for a long time in both the men's and women's relay  

I think the best biathlon results will be on the IBU datacenter.  No idea if the race data will be streamed lived or just results.

I don't think there is a need to announce every single result change after exchanges and shooting, because everybody has the live results available to them.

Well, if we're looking at this situation that straightforwardly, then it means that every single junior world champion still needs to beat the other 12-20 junior world champions from earlier years as well to get their hands on that overall crystal globe

Surprisingly enough, there is only one athlete in this junior world champion list that actually has an overall crystal globe and I guess that should be a nice tell how much impact that title does have to your success. It all depends on the character and on the training. Makarainen was a horrible junior, but she had character.

Chardine Sloof, double junior world champion, should have a bit more results too then  
 
It's not an absolute marker of success, but obviously it's better to show talent than not show talent
