  1. I won't forget Spain losing to Canada at the end of the match, so I'll only believe it when the game ends, but...
  2. I think that like any brazilian in recent years in volleyball : women's team men's team
  3. Ok, we won and we're in the final. Now, let's see tomorrow if this team learned anything.
  4. If it's true, I hope we lose, pathetic thing. But honestly, I don't believe it.
  5. I don't know how much my work and university will allow, but I'll try for at least 6 hours. My priority will be volleyball, judo, boxing, skateboarding and handball.
  6. I thought I had seen a lot of pathetic situations in Brazilian basketball in recent years, but they still manage to surprise me.
  7. We are going to have a good tournament, this will give us hope that this time it could be different, then in the final we will lose by more than 20 points.
  8. I plan to watch Volleyball, Skateboarding, Boxing, Judo and Handball. But of course, I will be following all the sports that have Brazil. As for the countries I will support, I think , and are my favorites.
  9. Japan's evolution is so incredible, sometimes men's volleyball is so boring to watch because of the mistakes and few defenses (including Brazil's matches), but Japan's matches are always fun. If they had decent middle blockers this team would be hard to stop.
  10. I see a lot of people saying that Brazil doesn't have new players, but seriously that our new players are worse than Borges or Lucas? Throughout the championship, Adriano and Bergmann had even better performances than Leal and Lucarelli, but one of them will be cut because he "has no experience" (they aren't friends of the coach). Honorato, who was spectacular last year, is now just a libero (who can't even play). Anyway, congratulations Poland.
  11. We rotate our players in every match. I think this team that is playing against Polonia has only played against Cuba and Italy. And I also think that Poland and Italy have had enough terrible experiences with favoritism to look down on teams like Brazil and the USA.
  12. Honestly, with the exception of Poland I don't see any team doing anything special that we can't win.
  13. Honestly, Serbia is worse than all the teams you mentioned (except Egypt) and I still think Slovenia will fail, as they don't have a B team and they will probably arrive at the Olympics exhausted. Considering how well Canada is doing I think your chances are good.
  14. The last three world championship medalists in the same group.
  15. Orro has been very consistent for Italy. The setter has been a problem for them, if she continues this performance it will be difficult to stop them. It's a shame they can't count on Pietrini.
  16. It's always hell playing against Japan for us, the last three matches between the teams had also gone to 5, eventually Japan would win. I'm not happy, but it could be important that we lose now, it would be a lot of pressure for the Olympics if everything went perfectly.
  17. Well, I think that for the coach, matches like this are great so they can correct their own mistakes of calling up players who shouldn't even be there, for example. I'm curious to see what Bernardinho will do. Lucarelli and Leal have been very inconsistent so far. Our best performances so far from OH have been the two youngest (Adriano and Lukas). Honorato could help us, but Bernardinho is taking him as a libero .
  18. And now Iran defeated Nimir 3-2. It seems the victory against the USA was the motivation they needed.
  19. Thanks God, a fair distribution. Great group for Brazil.
  20. Tomorrow the game between and will be very spicy. Mainly with Volleyball World itself encouraging rivalry between fans in all posts on social media.
  21. My bets for 21 medals and 4 or 5 golds. Athletics - 1-2 - Piu is the medal favorite and I think this time we will win a medal in some walking event. Boxing - 2-4 - It's our best team in history, probably everyone has some chance of a medal (of course some need more luck than others). Less than two medals would be disappointing. Canoeing - 1-2 - I honestly bet on a medal here either with Isaquias Queiroz or Ana Sátila. Gymnastics - 2-5 - Lots of chances here with Rebecca Andrade, Flávia Saraiva, the women's team, Arthur Nory (I don't think this one is classified yet) or even the girls from Rhythmic Gymnastics or trampoline. In the worst case I expect at least the performance of Tokyo which was 2 medals. Judo - 2-3 - Mayra, Bia, Daniel, William, Baby, Team... I expect at least two medals here. Swimming - 1 - Ana Marcela in open water. Skate - 2-3 - Rayssa Leal, someone from the men's Park and perhaps another medal in the men's Park or even Street. Surf - 1-2 - I think Gabriel and Tatiana will medal. Sailing - 1 - Martine/Kahena are not exactly favorites in this sport, I'm betting on their status as current two-time Olympic champions and Brazil's history in this sport. Volleyball - 1 - I think both teams can medal here. We have great squads who seem to be in the best moment since Tokyo. Today, I bet on one. Beach Volleyball - 1-2 - If Ana/Duda is not going through the best moment, our other three teams seem to have finally reached a decent level. Other/Some new sport - 1 - Our tradition of getting a medal in a new sport. It's very difficult, but I'm going to bet on archery.
  22. I'm glad Canada came back quickly after the loss to Italy. Despite the exhaustion, beating a team like Japan can be a boost for any team.
