  1. Those are the prizes from the government, then you have what business and common people are giving, I guess that is what the original Olympians felt when returning home, hehe. Restaurants given them free food for 4 years, one supermarket gave them about US$13,000 in groceries, some other a land property, free concerts, free training at shooting ranges, beauty parlors, free flights inside Guatemala, even cooked food and free vegetables from people just offering a prize. Amazing!
  2. A little late, but NOC just announced the prizes our medalist will get Adriana Ruano Gold about US$387,000 Jean Pierre Brol Bronze about US$161,000 in addition the coach for gold medal will get US$96,000 and for bronze US$40,000

  6. 1. 10! 10! 10! Across the board! They were Fantastic, Unbelievable 2. The medals were a surprise, I was hoping for Olympic Diploma, but Adriana and Jean Pierre excelled. Heartbroken for Kevin Cordón in Badminton, it was his last Olympic Games, 5 times. 3. Goal Surpassed 4. None, it will be the same until they fix the NOC 5. Luis Grijalva, he trains and lives in the US, has been 4th place at Diamond League in 5,000m so let's hope.
  7. This picture means a lot, since Alberto in February was in the hospital for 2 weeks, and for 6 days he fell into a coma. He had already qualified for the Games so started training back and did his season best at Paris 2024. He won the Half Marathon at the Central and Caribbean Games in San Salvador 2023 and the bronce medal at the Pan American Games in Santigo 2023. Yay for Alberto!
