Synchro trampoline has been added to the program, the quota has not increased. This means 5 team per gender will compete (the bare minimum). All it takes is one injury for the event to be cancelled.

Other qualification news: Road+Track quotas go from 160 in 2019 to 187 in 2023, increase partly due to Cali 2021. Unfortunatley the increase has been offset by the Caribbean championships losing 8 quotas (from 10 to 2, one per gender). Basketball: Top 7 at each FIBA Americup qualify. 3x3: The fields have been doubles to 12 per tournament. Top 4 at FIBA 3x3 AmeriCup in November, + top 6 in WR as of June 30, 2023 will qualify along with Cali winners and Hosts. Diving: Quota increased to 80 (from 70).
