  4. and are the CONCACAF qualifiers.
  5. I think its split, because near the top of the document it says 6 continents, while five are listed (with Pan America combined)
  6. Cbc confirmed as broadcaster in Canada. Coverage is pretty lame but at least it's something. https://commonwealthsport.ca/news/featured/cbc-sports-provide-exclusive-canadian-broadcast-and-streaming-coverage-2022-commonwealth-games-july-28-august-8.html
  7. Lawn bowls draws:https://bowlsinternational.keypublishing.com/sectional-draws-confirmed-for-birmingham-2022-commonwealth-games/
  8. The problem with dropping swimming is its one of two core sports. It simply cannot be dropped along with athletics. All other sports are optional. Judo on the other hand add the third highest number of participating countries in Tokyo. It's a universal sport. ______ Pakistan dropped its badminton team: https://www.insidethegames.biz/articles/1125498/paskistan-sports-board-badminton-b22 Highly unlikely they are replaced. I guess they didn't want to lose to India jk
  9. Apparently UPAG has changed the qualification tournament to next year's event...without any warning nothing. Could explain why the USA didn't send any women in trampoline.
  10. Canada's team size is confirmed to be 278 (279, if there is a replacement for Kayla Sanchez), should be the third largest team
  11. Canada up +5, to 59 athletes now.
  12. Canada also sending a B team in artistic gymnastics. Rhythmic on the other hand should win a few golds
  13. Yea the men's team has a lot of people earning their first caps. Couple of the veterans on the team such as Kindler and Smythe were left off.
  14. imploded in this tournament. From defeating the defending Olympic champions just a few months ago to unlikely to make the WC.
  15. Hey maybe finally Slovakia can break into the top 6 (now 7) hockey nations in the eyes of the NHL (ie no stupid mix teams at the Hockey World Cup)
  16. She is effectively killing her career. There won't be the level of support there is in Canada and ofc there is 0 chance the Philippines builds a medal winning relay team.
  17. This is quite alarming: https://www.sportsnet.ca/olympics/article/canadian-swimmer-says-she-was-drugged-at-world-championships/
  18. Wow... https://www.cbc.ca/sports/olympics/summer/aquatics/swimming/swimming-mary-sophie-harvey-says-she-was-drugged-at-2022-worlds-1.6512696
  19. Only female Commonwealth Champ* RIP
  20. What a horrible time to host the games. THe Winter Paralympics just finish 2 days before then. Guaranteed no CBC there and that likely means Canadians will need to watch on some app (lol)
  21. https://www.ijf.org/index.php/competition/2457/judoka_nations\ Judo entry list. Note: is listed as and all the "home nations" are grouped under
  22. Luge qualification system.
  23. all qualify in men's soccer. If the US declines, I would think stands next in line (as next best team not qualified).
