    If the IOC drops the sport, it will be q unilateral decision. The FIS did not discuss this at all at their recently concluded congress. The quotas dropped from NC would allow Ski mountaineering to be held with no other sports needing quota cuts.

    The FIS games are a reality now. The first edition will be in 2024, with all FIS disciplines, and I would assume non-Olympic events will be included as well. They will be held every 4 years.

    Don't mean to be a cynic, but our men's volleyball team looks to be toast at the WL, three heavy loses at home to start. There are a lot of new players on the team, perhaps this golden generation of the last two quads is over. On the other hand, the women seem to be improving and handily beat the DR, and they look to be solidly second in Norceca.
