  1. Live stream for Beskydska Latka (WA Indoor Tour Silver) in Trinec, Czech Republic! This event is high jump only, but a solid field nonetheless. On the women’s side the heavy favourite is Kazakhstani national record holder Safina Sadullayeva, who has a PB of 1.97m. Much deeper field in terms of quality on the men’s side with Cuban Luis Enrique Zayas (2.33m PB), German Tobias Potye (2.34m PB), American Shelby McEwen (2.33m PB), and Pole Norbert Kobielski (2.33m PB) all expected to be in the mix. 2. 20-5 win for Canada over Great Britain to improve to 2-0 in women’s waterpolo pool play! Big game coming up against Italy, a win would advance them directly through to the quarterfinals where they would most likely play Greece. A loss, and a likely visit with New Zealand in the playoffs, followed by a likely visit with Spain in the quarterfinals. So not a path we’d want to take.
  3. Cedric Fofana with two excellent dives to start off his campaign in the men’s 3m springboard prelims 63.00 and 66.30 on his first two dives, but still a long way to go.

  6. What a horrible season for alpine skiers… all of them are getting injured
  7. As mentioned, this event wasn’t a Super 500 it was a Super 300
  8. with a very disappointing 185.5846, currently sitting in 10th, but with four heavy hitters still to come it doesn’t look like they’ll qualify for the final @Makedonas
  9. Holy crap a 304.1272 for Assuming Russian teams and groups stay banned and nothing changes, they’re looking like the clear favourite for Olympic gold at the moment.
  10. are the first six teams to qualify for the team technical final. still to go
  11. Not sure if this is the right thread to ask but anyways… is there anywhere I can watch it free and with no VPN? Don’t mind if the commentary is in another language. Last year it was on Eurovision Sports TV, but no luck this year. CBC Sports (Canadian Broadcaster) isn’t streaming diving prelims/semifinals, along with artistic swimming prelims, swimming prelims, and non-Canadian waterpolo matches so it would be really helpful. I would be using my computer, which has a functioning VPN but it hasn’t been working lately (long story)
  12. take the lead after five teams in the team technical prelims, with a very respectable 212.8557 Good enough to advance them to the finals.
  13. Thank you. You have the results page to blame, not me, as IJF had Savytskiy winning bronze earlier.

  15. Also at the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix, Marco Arop records a new PB of 2:14.74 in the men’s 1000m, which is the second fastest indoor time ever (2:14.20 was the WR, set by Ayanleh Souleiman at the 2016 Globen Galan (International Amateur Athletics Federation World Indoor Tour) in Stockholm, Sweden)
  16. 6.44 for Noah Lyles in the men’s 60m at the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix (World Athletics Indoor Tour Gold) in Boston, United States
  17. Men’s and women’s ice hockey teams have qualified for Milano-Cortina 2026 already! Men’s ice hockey team qualified by virtue of their position in the IIHF World Ranking, following the conclusion of the 2023 Men’s Ice Hockey World Championships. Women’s ice hockey team qualified by virtue of mathematically being guaranteed a quota through the IIHF World Rankings, following the 2024 Women’s Ice Hockey World Championships, as they can’t fall behind Japan. Also, if you didn’t see @Topicmaster1010 ’s reply on the Ice Hockey 2023-24 Discussion Thread, NHL players are back

  20. 24-2 rout over South Africa to start our women’s waterpolo campaign.
  21. Either way, I don’t see it happening. Great Britain has been beating a lot of the lesser teams lately, which is good for them, but nothing has shown me that Great Britain is capable of defeating a team of Canada’s caliber
  22. No sorry, contests like these don’t interest me unfortunately.
