    Hopefully Canada can secure quotas in rowing and 3x3 basketball this week to close the gap on our Tokyo total. Team sports impacted that number a lot. Men’s rugby team probably won’t qualify, softball isn’t in the Olympics anymore, and our men’s field hockey team failed to qualify.

    Ethan Katzberg well off his best today, but still manages to win the men’s hammer throw competition at the Orlen Memorial Janusza Kusocinskiego with a best mark of 79.12m (Halasz and Fadjek were also in the field btw) He had a 73.91m first throw, but rebounded soon after throwing 77.82m in the 2nd round, 78.81m in the 4th round, 79.12m in the 5th round, and 78.45 in the 6th round.
