  1. I’m late (again), but congratulations on your first Olympic medal in Paris and a gold at that @konig @MatiReimundo @LDOG @NMQ
  2. Oops yep, my brain is clearly not working very well after being awake all of these hours
  3. I’m glad to be proven wrong That still doesn’t change the fact that his season has been poor up until this point for the most part (besides his run in Madrid, partly due to walkovers although he played really well against clay court specialist Ruud)
  4. @Vektor has he specifically stated in any Hungarian interviews that his goal was to medal or contend for a medal?
  5. Worth noting that only Auger-Aliassime, Siniakova, and Machac are the only three still alive in more than one event.
  6. Little update on the draw. Mixed Doubles Semifinals Dabrowski/Auger-Aliassime v. Machac/Siniakova Schuurs/Koolhof v. Xinyu/Zhang The one team I didn’t want to face Women’s Doubles Quarterfinals Muchova/Noskova v. Hsieh/Tsao Paolini/Errani v. Boulter/Watson Bucsa/Sorribes Tormo v. Kichenok/Kichenok Andreeva/Schnaider v. Krejcikova/Siniakova Women’s Singles Semifinals Iga Swiatek v. Qinwen Zheng Donna Vekic v. Anna Schmiedlova Men’s Singles Quarterfinals Felix Auger-Aliassime v. Casper Ruud Carlos Alcaraz v. Tommy Paul Novak Djokovic v. Stefanos Tsitsipas Alexander Zverev v. Lorenzo Musetti Men’s Doubles Semifinals Ebden/Peers v. Paul/Fritz / Evans/Murray Pavlasek/Machac v. Krajicek/Ram
  7. Completely agree, I either hope rules get put into place or it gets removed from the Olympic program entirely. So many athletes are getting robbed from victory because of corruption. Not complaining about Thibeault’s loss by the way, I just finished watching it on replay, the bout could’ve gone either way and I wouldn’t have been surprised with the outcome.
  8. Auger-Aliassime plays his mixed doubles semifinal right after his men’s singles quarterfinal Horrific scheduling.
  9. Rick Tocchet announced as one of assistant head coaches for the 4-Nations Face Off! @Topicmaster1010 https://www.instagram.com/p/C-GScq3Sru6/?igsh=ZXhibWJ0MmZ1YnMz
  10. I mean Reddit is, well Reddit… They’re not wrong though, what he did was disgusting, and deserves a bigger punishment for what he did than what he actually got. I mean, 1 year is ridiculously light. I think he’s remorseful for what he did and I don’t think he’ll ever do it again (at least hopefully not) but that doesn’t excuse that he did do it. Nothing against you guys personally of course, I’ve noticed that the only people going lighter on him with the replies are Dutch. Coincidence? Probably not.
  11. As an avid watcher of 3x3 basketball (mainly women’s, but I also watch men’s from time to time), like I said on the Team Canada club (too lazy to find the reply ) it isn’t that surprising, they’ve shown they can beat the top teams (and play close games against them too) Don’t see them making it into the medal rounds, but they have the potential to make it into the knockout stage and/or record a few wins.
  12. Mol/Sørum sweep Carambula/Ranghieri
  13. Both teams are good, it’ll be tough either way.
  14. WE’VE DONE IT! WOMEN’S SOCCER TEAM ADVANCES TO THE QUARTERFINALS! 1-0 win over Colombia in our final group stage match! What fight from the girls after all the adversity they’ve had to face. Well deserved. Up next Germany!
  15. That’s debatable. Some people are just happy with their placement and time, and don’t care about missing out on a medal.
  16. World Championships bronze medalist in a depleted field. None of the top names were present. I get the disappointment being 0.01 off a medal, I’d feel the same way if it was one of our swimmers. Nemeth performed well, head up.
  17. Nemeth wasn’t even expected to get anywhere near the medals. I get you’re disappointed with how well the Olympics has been going for Hungary so far but c’mon.
  18. PAN ZHANLE WORLD RECORD! WOW! 46.40
  19. WHAT DID I JUST WITNESS! WORLD RECORD!
  20. I like Marchand, but I’d disagree.
  21. OLYMPIC RECORD LEON MARCHAND WITH HIS SECOND GOLD OF THE NIGHT!
