I don’t even live in Toronto (or for that matter watch IndyCar, actually I don’t think I’ve ever heard of it), but yeah that sucks.

Yes, it’s been confirmed for quite a while now if you look through the Swimming Canada Olympic nomination procedure. It states something along the lines of “if you have the OQT and finish top two at Trials, then you can race in that event at the Olympics”

Call me selfish, but if that means more Canadian athletes get in then I’m all for a negative outcome Really do feel bad for these athletes though.
