This remains to be seen. We haven't had one true dominator in men's golf for a while. Winning two or three majors in this ultra-competitive era is quite an achievement already. Morikawa doesn't have the power supply some of the others do and of course let's see how he handles pressure now that he's a major winner.

Los Angeles has Lakers and Dodgers. USA is probably one country that doesn't need to host any Olympics. Hell, it had a hard time to bid for athletics World Champs for 30+ years despite being a powerhouse in that sport.
