  1. Yesterday, before start of memorial in Chorzów (Silesia) Anna Kiełbasińska and Małgorzata Hołub-Kowalik had a farewall ceremony. Thank you for good memories and many success in last 15 years! Hoping you will have good post sport life!

Today our prime ministry and ministry of sport announced that they are aiming for Poland hosting Olympics in 2040 or 2044, while few months ago they said that we are too poor to host Olympics, it was when other political party was rulling... Edit: I wish that ministry of sport at first would clean up whole mess in most of sports federation, kick off current heads and choose new, perspective leaders. If it will not happen then it will be hard to imagine that host nation will win something like 10-15 medals....

  15. Interesting fact: Poland make their Olympic debut in Paris 1924, first medal which we winning there was in track cycling, now, 100 years later we finish the Games also with medal in track cycling

  18. First time since Athens 2004 we failed to have medal in this sport.
  19. No, we dont have a medal in hammer throw, only Natalia Kaczmarek on 400m gets bronze and saved our honor here. Both Ennaoui and Roznicki have injuries and cant training as I would want since 2 and 3 years. We had only two 800m runners here, Anna Wielgosz among womens and Mateusz Borkowski among mens, but both were out after repechages.
  20. Overally Maria Andrejczyk did win qualifications three Olympic a row in Rio, Tokyo and Paris, she finished 4th, 2nd and 8th in that order...
  21. In javelin Maria couldnt replay her qualification result, which could give her silver medal and finished just 8th
