Woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow I think that the key lesson of the day is that everybody in the discus final was so ANGRY, cursing, pissed off, stressed. Gudžius was driving himself insane after every throw, Čeh was very unhappy, the Swedes were not too happy either, whilst Alekna and Okoye were the most chill throwers of the night and reached their biggest career achievements. I am very happy and very glad, this young man is hopefully going to have many good competitive years in front of him. I imagine discus throw finals are going to be nail biting every single time between him, Čeh and another youngster - Sosna. I'm feeling overwhelmed, it's nice that Čeh didn't win everything and that we were able to bring one home!!!

Swimming, men's 1500m Freestyle...man, this list is full of champions...Hackett was phenomenal, Perkins was great, super-Greg is...super-Greg, but the "tsar" is still unmatched, therefore my pick is / Vladimir Salnikov. Judo, men's Half Lightweight...Uchishiba has won 2 gold medals, but Hifumi is on another planet, he has changed the game in this class... therefore, my pick can't be anybody else than Hifumi Abe. Judo, women's Half Lightweight...gotta resist to the temptation and hype over Kelmendi, but the right pick in this class can't be anybody else than Xian Dongmei, the only girl to win twice the gold medal in this class so far. Weightlifting, men's Super-Heavyweights...well, I used to be a super-fan of Andrei Chemerkin...and I've watched many other champions doing unbelievable things, but what Talakhadze is doing in the last few years is just special...so, my pick is Lasha Talakhadze.

Opět nějací slovenští borci byli chvíli nade mnou až jsem si říkal že se s nimi pro tebe vyfotím. Ale já se v cizině k našim moc nehlasim. Chci si užít klid a cizí řeč (Slováků považuju pořád za naše) :-) Shrnutí dne: byl jsem tam kde jsem být neměl :-) začalo to ráno, kdy paty den, navíc pospíchám, jedu metrem na druhou stranu. Takže jakmile jsem přišel na stadion viděl jsem Tabáckovou házet zrovna poslední pokus ( z místa nahoře na stadionu, asi pro vozíčkáře nevím, pořadatelka mě německý s úsměvem vyhazovala, já ji s úsměvem anglicky odpovídal že nerozumím, ale že už jdu, že jsem chtěl vidět jen jeden pokus) Po dálce sedmibojarek (kde teda nevím proč jich tolik nezapsalo platný pokus, já být jimi pohybující se kolem 10.misto, tam šoupnu zajistovak a užiju si parádní večerní atmosféru). ...jsem se přesunul na oštěp. Říkám si, bude parádní atmosféra česká, bohužel nebyla, az se celkem divím proč, najednou kousek ode mě Železný, ostatní taky s nějakými visačky. Ale zůstal jsem a az jsem odcházel tak jsem zjistil že jsem v sekci jen pro trenéry. Ale kdyby něco říkali, tak se vytasim s profilovkou Železného, to by museli uznat :-) Po oštěpu přesun na tyč, akorát začínala. Byl jsem v sekci Turka (ale tentokrát už řádně v hledišti), takže jsem viděl techniku, kolik lidí se o to stará. Jeden natáčí na tablet, druhý ukazuje, třetí mu to chodí říct ci ještě píší i nějaké vzkazy... Každopádně to bylo vedlejší, zaujalo mě opět zlepšující se mladí závodníci ta rychlost, technika.... A naopak odcházející stará škola Poláků. Pote přesun na oštěp sedmibojarek z hlavního výhledu + 200m, taková pohoda. Zítra asi půjdu na oštěp na stejné místo, člověk má přehled o všem. Pak jsem se přesunul na lezení a opět super. Pořadatelé to s obtížnosti trefili ale bojím jestli to tak trefí vždy. Jinak tohle je sport mladých, takový biatlon řekl bych s velkou budoucnosti na olympiádě (myslím že budou bývat všechny disciplíny, jak lead, boulder, kombinace, sprint, možná v budoucnu i nějaké mixy jak je to teď "populární") Bylo to těsne, ale jsou všichni sympataci a sympatacky tak ok :-) Pote co jsem se vrátil zpět na atletiku (Slávka zrovna dostala gól) tak další a možná ještě větší zklamání a naštvání, výška je na druhé straně než mám lístky. To jsem vážně nečekal, protože tam byly i dálka a kladivo. Na mě strane vůbec nic. Po posílení, jsem si porušil svoje pravidlo, ukázal jsem pořadateli svoje místo v sekci a za poslechu holandské hymny jsem kráčel první řadou (parádní zážitek být úplně blízko pískoviště,...) na pána na druhou část stadionu. S pocitem, že zbývá hodina do začátku a je tu celkem dost plno jsem se obával že každou chvilku někdo přijde na moje místo. Začalo pršet, co pršet, bouře :-) panika. přerušení a všichni pod střechu. Než jsem pochopil že je to povinně, tak jsem obešel stadion a šel přes borca co kontroluje na druhou část zastřešeneho stadionu. S pocitem jak jsem vychytralý a že to dělají všichni, jsem si opět užíval chůzi v první řadě a do toho stadion zpival Sweet Caroline,... Usadil jsem se tedy stejně jako všichni v cílové rovince (normálně se tam nemůže ani ráno). Zde ti Slováci, asi čekali na Volka. Parádní atmosféra zde, DJ víe čo hrát, mexická vlna na půlce stadionu (skoro na celém, postupně se přidávalo i posledních 10 lidí co zůstalo na druhé straně). Ale bohuzel v tom, konec, atletika začne půl hodiny, můžete se vrátit na místa. Chvíli jsem uvažoval že zůstanu, ale nebylo nic moc z techniky co vidět, tak jsem si řekl že to zkusím znovu. Přes borce jsem tedy prošel i potřetí a opět jsem první řadou prošel na druhou stranu stadionu. Usadil jsem se vedle Bulharů s vlajkou, takže pokud by chtěli ukázat někoho z Bulharů, budu tam :-D taktika dobrá, akorát Bulhar ve výšce zrovna moc atraktivní na ukazování nebyl. Tak jsem se aspoň přidal k nim a celkem 5 jsme ho povzbuzovalo :-D Pořád jsem čekal že někdo přijde, že mu sedím na místě, ale kdyz nepřišel po prvních 40 minutách už jsem začínal byl klidný. Myslím že zůstal pod střechou. Takže bouře mě nakonec asi zachránila. Mrholení bylo příjemné, stání taky super (je to sektor kotle, takze se většinou stojí, protože furt se něco děje). Jako třeba zrovna dneska: v jeden okamžik (během 2 minut: skákala Mihambo (Německa hvězda večera), poslední 2 kolečka 5000m s nemkou předbihajici vedoucí závodníci, Německy výškař skákal a do toho poslední pokus 2. a 1. kladivare. Prostě všechno najednou a všechno jsem stihl v přímém přenosu, bomba. Akorát jsem myslel že mi upadnou ruky :-D Jo a Tamberi, to je komediant. Už to trochu někdy přehání, ale radši víc než míň. Ten kontakt s publikem, vyžádat si podporu, poděkovat, to by měli umět všichni. Čím dal delší co? Si založit blog :-)

A member of the Slovenian national team in cross-country skiing - 19-year-old Hana Mazi Jamnik - died in a tragic accident during a training session in Norway, the Skiing Association of Slovenia announced. A truck crashed into Kranjčanka shortly before 9 a.m. during skateboarding training in the Botshei tunnel on the road between Forsand and Joerpeland. As reported by Sportal, the victim was taken by helicopter to a hospital in Stavanger, but doctors were unable to save her life. Last year, Hana Mazi Jamnik won the title of world junior champion in skateboarding in Val di Fiemme in skating technique.
