Federer91 2,797 Posted February 16, 2021 #121 Share Posted February 16, 2021 Those "rankings" are shady as f**k. I will never trust them for boxing. This is not good news for us, as we already had a few loses at the Euro OQT start and they we hoping for that World qualifier for a second chance with a lesser competition. PS. And Europe is of course screwed with this as they would lose 20+ places, which were going to be obtained from the World OQT. dcro 10,210 Posted February 16, 2021 #122 Share Posted February 16, 2021 I expect more resolutions like this one in other sports too. Suspect there will be an unusual number of withdrawals as well. We may end up with something that closely resembles Moscow 1980. #banbestmen

MHSN 3,625 Posted February 16, 2021 #124 Share Posted February 16, 2021 this is terrible These are the best ranked Asian/Oceania athletes , obviously if they accept the quota it will be very interesting for Oceania athletes, specially Samoa having a separate continental championship helped them to have more ranking points. only 6 out of 63 quotas went to Oceania during the qualifiers. they will get 5 more here. but I assume there will be some withdrawals. two of these Samoan boxers didn't even participate at the qualifier in Jordan. 52: Carlo Paalam 57: Erdenebatyn Tsendbaatar 63: Harry Garside 69: Marion Ah Tong 75: Fanat Kakhramonov 81: Dilshodbek Ruzmetov 91: Ato Plodzicki-Faoagali +91: Filimaua Hala 51: Pang Chol-Mi 57: Nesthy Petecio 60: Wang Cong 69: Maftunakhon Melieva 75: Faasu Loia Benolympique, dcro and Vic Liu 1 1
