Natalia VORONINA - Martina SABLIKOVA @hckosice This is the final start list. Oshigiri, Manganello, Van der Weijden, Li are not on the final start list, whereas Kim is. Looking at the season so far, there are no clear favorites for this event. The favorites are in the 4 final pairs, though. Many women who can win a medal, so this could be an exciting first speed skating event. Thanks I´ll update it

I think it will be 1) Sablikova, 2) Wüst, 3) Takagi, but De Jong and Voronina might challenge for bronze as well. heywoodu 13,663 Posted February 9, 2018 Author #203 Share Posted February 9, 2018 Sablikova has been complaining about back problems, and said she barely trained for 2 months. That sounds like psychological warfare at it's most basic. phelps 7,210 Posted February 9, 2018 #208 Share Posted February 9, 2018 My pick is Wust winning the Gold medal, with Blondin and Takagi fighting up to the last skate for Silver and Bronze... and I pick Pechstein as my "luxus outsider"... for the Italian concerns, I hope Lollobrigida can make at least the 15th place, but I wouldn't be surprised if she just shows up and ends up last (and by miles), since she's only been talking about the Mass Start in the last 2 years or so...
