Canada will only have one male wrestler in Rio... Not a good sign considering everyone on the team is 30+ besides Gill!

 

On thr other hand all 6 women have a chance to win a medal on any given day (but 1 or 2 would be nice)

In the ex-URSS derby the uzbek Bekzod Abdurakhmonov has win versus Saikbai Uspupov :KGZ 2-12 and the ex world medallist become the 1st qualifier of the day. In the second semifinals the iberian Taimuraz Friev wins the quota and he wins the match versus the multi european medallist Krystian Brzozowski :POL

Schengfen :CHN and Gwan-uk :KOR qualified for Rio :clap: 

 

The athlete from the Popular Republic of China Bin Schengfen has beat one of the most decored athlete in the tournament, the athlete from Beslan and 2 times world Champion and 8 times medallist in European and World Championship Ibragim Aldatov :UKR 10-0.

In the second semifinal the athlete from Korea Kim Gwan-uk defeat Pool Ambrocio :PER 8-1

In the frist semifinals the Mongolian wrestler Dorjkhandyn Khüderbulga defeat the Indian Mausam Khatri 8-6.

In the second match the ex-Russian wrestler Naturalized by Ukraine in 2015 Albert Saritov has beat 8-0 the Belarussian athlete Ivan Yankouski :BLR

What a disaster for Tajikistan. 4 wrestlers in London, now they qualify 0. They also had 4 boxers and 2 taekwondo athletes in London and this time they have 0 in both.

 

They will have 7 athletes in total in best case scenario, after having 16 in 2012.

Atli :TUR and Rakhmonov :UZB qualified for Rio :clap: 

The Turkish athlete Süleyman Atli has defeat 16-6 the wrestler from Tajikistan Hikmatullo Vohidov :TJK and in the second semifinals Samat Nadyrbek Uulu :KGZ was beat by the Uzbekistan's wrestler Abbos Rakhmonov
