Major announcement just been made.

A study has revealed female athletes with hyperandrogenism get a huge boost because of their high testosterone levels

http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/stories/A/ATH_IAAF_TESTOSTERONE_STUDY?SITE=AP&SECTION=HOME&TEMPLATE=DEFAULT&CTIME=2017-07-03-16-50-17

Too late for 2017 but, for example, the 800m could be very different in 2018

Just wow. Melissa Bishop was robbed in Rio!! What a joke.

I wonder if it was Captain Obvious who performed this study :d

If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Full story and how to help can be found here!

That study is linked here https://www.iaaf.org/news/press-release/hyperandrogenism-research.

I can't understand why this would be decisive...they show that female athletes with more testosterone  (even in the "normal" women's range) have an advantage in certain events but also a disadvantage in other events  (100m, 200m, 100h,...). And a way smaller difference in testosterone levels seems to be more decisive in the hammer throw than in the 800m for example.

He suffer for Groin Injury since April and his start in London is apparently very unlikely to happen

That is not good at all.
