Damn that was some drama, great first match. I can't believe Hughes lost that. A fantastic comeback from 5:9 to 9:9 and he was on 24 when Dobey was some 250+. The crowd were really behind Hughes, which added to Dobey's collapse. Uggh why Hughes, why

On the other hand, that 180 for Dobey when Hughes was at 24...that was a pretty nice one

Meanwhile, Dutch player Co Stompé is the guest in the studio on TV and he was asked the question whether Benito vd Pas is one of the players who should be in the top-10 in 4-5 years. Some deeply philosophical answer from Co: "It's hard to say. There can only be ten players in the top ten."

Very tough match for the world champion, Noppert played amazingly, could have beaten nearly anyone else. But big match Gary made a crucial appearance just to squeek the win.
