I believe I saw Toon Aerts managed to beat them both twice, but that's about it. If they both compete, nobody has a realistic chance if they don't run into flat tyres (plural).

Absolutely. Is he injured or something like that? If not, it would kind of feel like he's afraid to face both of them at the same time

Right. Well, that puts some added pressure on him, now he really can't afford to lose to Van Aert and/or Van der Poel there
