Silvia Govorníková will serve as one of the Eventing judges panel

Well, there are three judges in eventing and she is not listed there.

Maybe she is just a scribe (a person who writes down what judge says).

I realy do not know how it works, who she is and what she exactly do, sorry

This is from our NOC website

Premiérovo bude mať Slovensko zastúpenie aj v rozhodcovskej jury súťaží v jazde na koni. Medzinárodná jazdecká federácia do rozhodcovského panelu súťaže vo všestrannej spôsobilosti vybrala Silviu Gavorníkovú.

So over at www.Olympedia.org we have been given the entry lists by the IOC.

If you see mistakes it will be the fault of the IOC not us....

No big mistakes in the Indonesian athletes, except that Riau Ega Agathas' birth month mistakenly listed in olympedia (IOC was correct this time).

I'll email the missing birth places later on

Seems a bit of social media exaggeration, didn't they announce these cardboard beds already in 2019 or so? I know I've seen them pass along quite long ago, just not sure how long :p

Exactly. If Lasha Talakhadze or Li Wenwen can manage then obviously 2 people can.

South Sudan's track and field team has been stuck in Japan since late 2019 after the Olympics got postponed due to Covid. The locals crowd funded their stay.

I guess the last shred of dignity is gone. It has been confirmed that fake fan noise will be used.

Hope these cheers without people don't upset the horses. :cheerlieconfused:

Is that really the last shred of dignity? Our local football team prefered the recorded fan noise to nothing, I would be surprised if they're the only ones.

To me there's nothing wrong about it (though it's of course not even close to the right thing).

Whether it could be a problem for the horses should really be considered, though!
