dullard 500 Posted July 26, 2023 #381 Share Posted July 26, 2023 (edited) Also Alexy has a big swim in him if he could salvage a final spot after such a disasterous start. He really shouldn't have been able to go that time off that start! Edited July 26, 2023 by dullard Josh and maestro
Matteo92 89 Posted July 26, 2023 #382 Share Posted July 26, 2023 As far as swimming is concerned, Italy's WCs are turning into a complete disaster. With the exception of Quadarella, basically everyone is performing way, way below his 2022 standards. Today has been outright atrocious, starting with this morning's heats. Good point (I guess you weren't talking exclusively about men?). Pilato, Miressi, Galossi, Paltrinieri, Martinenghi, even Ceccon. Maybe you could also add Razzetti and Burdisso. Italy so far with only 5 individual finals in olympic disiplines, less than Germany. Italy could end up with less than 10 individual finals in olympic events. Even 2 years ago it seemed unthinkable, but France is clearly outperforming Italy (and might be the european number 1 right now). heywoodu 13,641 Posted July 26, 2023 #387 Share Posted July 26, 2023 Good thing Heilman didn't win. Wouldn't want to see the German tabloids headlining 'Sieg Heilman!' dullard and Josh 2 If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated!
