Big error for Canada in the softball game against Japan. They are in big trouble now - runners on the corners with one out, bottom of the seven. There was an easy double play available.

I have to say the three womens foil fencers did better than I was expecting today. A win in this round would have been amazing, but hopefully it means we can do well in the team event.

And the softball team loses its chance to play for gold.  Hopefully they can still snag bronze.

Yeah, I was going to say the two medals are great but besides that it's been a fairly disappointing day for Canada.  Gymnasts are struggling it seems, too.  Hopefully the swimmers will give some good results tonight.
