Men's Football UEFA European Championship 2020

Recommended Posts

when I was a kid Italy used to lose all Penalty shout outs :d 1990, 1994, 1998. thanks to the Netherlands (which was even worse than Italy in PK :d) that curse had been lifted in 2000. at least nowadays Italy wins and loses on penalties.

Italy football NT is the first team I cheered for when I was 5 or 6 :d (even before watching one match of our own NT) so yeah still a fan. so happy for that close win. Spain was the better team tonight though.

and congrats to Italian users here. :yes

Same for me. :d Further more Euro 2000 was the first sporting event at all that i was exposed to/watched. And thus, for 21 years now, Italy NT is one of my strongest sporting passions.

For Me Spain was the better side today but Italy was better through the tournament so I guess it was fair and square , making Morata shoot a penalty is the most stupid decision Enrique has taken maybe in his entire life, really sad for Olmo he was the best player by far today but ofc he won't forget this petty missed ever despite the fact that he's the penalty taker in Leipzig

I'm happy for brazilian players in Italian NT.

But Jesus, how could CBF lost very good players such a Jorginho and Thiago (in the past Deco, Diego Costa and many others)

Ιtaly could have won 1996 Euro but failed because of Arrigo Sacchi's decisions smacked of a mixture of over-confidence and arrogance

    • Record crowds for this weekend, according to the British Comms so well done  les bouffe-grenouilles!
    • Suspect strongly that the Sultan of  is behind Global Wushu!     Another one is long distance & ultra triathlon.  There are literally millions being paid out in prize money to attract big name athletes from several sports, huge FTA TV coverage but seemingly no prospect of any profit.   And the classic is obstacle racing, which has effectively bought up the ownership of Modern Pentathlon.
    • apparently the Japanese organizers rejected OCA's nice request    now OCA is ordering them to do so in a not-so-nice language https://oca.asia/media/attachments/memberships_subcommittee/5/Decision_-_103rd_OCA_EB_Meeting_5ypY8y4.pdf   the last line is very interesting   I knew this for a while, for example that's why Jujjtsu is included in all of OCA events (despite being the worst sport to watch) but good to see OCA admit this. so with the corrupt OCA you can buy your way in. how much they paid the OCA officials for this ?   OK I know Qatar is financially supporting Padel (and UAE is paying everything for Jujitsu) but who is behind Teqball?  ! I don't think Thailand can do that.
    • Important information on team Aerials.   There is no AIN`s team at the start list of the world cup despite of the fact that belorussians have enough athletes to have a team.   https://medias4.fis-ski.com/pdf/2026/FS/8119/2026FS8119SLF1.pdf
    • By the way. It looks like no AIN`s will be in biathlon by the start of the Olympics. Russians filed an appeal to CAS to get AIN statuses in biathlon. But IBU did not agree to have hearings with short procedure. So the decisons are not expected before the end of qulifying period. (FIS could do the same but its top-officials prefer to help russians be back as quick as possible).   I would like to see Dolidovich at the Games. Because she is a real refugee of the relatively high level.
