These folks are crazy. Having the World Cup or continental championships every year would be chaos.

I agree, that they are complete morons. Infantino was very decent when he was in charge of UEFA. These people (IOC included) have this ability to hide their true colors until they get elected and then let loose all their shitty ideas.

That being said, would this be any more different, than what it already is. The Gold Cup and African Cup of Nations is already every 2 years with a WC in between, so they essentially play every year. Copa America is not much different with what, 4 editions in 7 years.. they always seem to find a reason to have it.

It will make only a difference for Europe, though with the Nations League, even the off-championship years are having some kind of national matches in June..

3 weeks vacations per year is enough for the footballers, like any regular person, am i right FIFA, UEFA, National FAs, Clubs..

De-valuing sporting events is becoming a tradition in the last 5-6 years, so nothing can surprise me for the worse.

Much cruel laughter & mockery in Britain today as Third Division* Cambridge United beat Saudi billionaire-backed Newcastle United 0-1 in the FA Cup.  At Newcastle’s home as well.

* Imperial measurements.

    • Honestly, I think you guys have a much better chance of success here than we do. It's already difficult to maintain this sport, and with this ridiculous format this year, things have gotten even worse. Years and years participating in the elite and we haven't been able to evolve; it was just a waste.

    • Another weak result for our athletics team, which is typical; without Caio or Alisson, our chances of a medal in any high-level tournament are almost zero.   However, Juliana's result in the women's pole vault was a great 7th place. She is improving rapidly and still has a lot of room for growth.

    • some changes in the team and less importance to the sport, the two big teams until 2022/2023 ( and ) in south america started to decrease a lot and in the other hand the 3rd in South America () is growing a lot, is really impressive. We are currently the favourites for the LA2028 quota
    • Last few weeks of the World Cup season for winter sports (and Junior Worlds, depending on streaming), Men's Curling Worlds, Saquarema Elite 16, and some tennis   That's it unless I'm missing something, not much going on    Which is a good thing honestly, very busy next couple of weeks.
    • What happened to Brazil's women's team? On the other hand it looks like Argentina may be the top South American team on the women's side. Defeating Spain, China and South Africa was unlikely up until this year
