History made for Lithuania, two athletes on the podium in the same event, I believe it only ever happened in Modern Pentathlon before with Krungolcas and Zadneprovski both winning medals at the Olympic Games.

 

Probably won't ever happen again, since Gudžius is ever slowly becoming an old man and can't throw that far anymore, but Mykolas Alekna is only nineteen and he's going to hopefully have a decade long rivalry at least with Ceh, they're both the future of discus throwing.

Oh I stayed up alright, 5 hours of sleep last night and zero hours so far of sleep this night, it's 6 A.M. here and it's probably not looking good for my atrocious sleep schedule these past few days.
