After no
British runner reached the Top 8 today in the Men's Marathon, they are now technically out of contest for the League victory too and it now will officially go to the Aussies (I didn't check the results and watched the replay of the end until a couple minutes ago).
Day 16 Standings and Report will come when all competition is over and the standings on a Google Sheets spreadsheet will be updated, which will happen up to a couple of hours after the final match of this (and last) year's Olympics are over.

almost 3 years later...
If anyone is even reading this thread anymore, it is time to finally close the 2020 Olympics League, right in time for the next Summer Olmypics edition. At the end, the USA were able to take the win over the Netherlands, as well as be clear in the points without the multipliers. If you enjoyed the concept by Greco and the execution by me, I appreciate that, but already can tell you to not get hyped (more on that later), also no day standings or report except for this. Also a decent amount of stuff, even including my presence, has not aged well, but so be it. Nevertheless, here are full standings with each NOC's multipliers (smaller one > bigger one in tiebreakers):
94
I ran out of flag emotes lol
And that will finally close this chapter of the Olympic League.
As for the Paris edition, I was planning to do one during the Games again, but, despite having my best effort to prepare very much in advance, including having a different multiplier system based on World Championships, but as I got into it I fell out of will to do it again. Main reason - the next Games are in Europe, therefore the nature of the League would make it less enjoyable, especially since there's no way I'll be both making reports and having sleep, so I am delaying it at the very least until the replays are out.
Anyone is free in taking this format and reinventing it into what they want, especially since I kinda did that myself.
Nevertheless, I am finally done being a professional lurker and will defo join in for the prediction contests, as well as other stuff that I find interesting and fun. Goodbye! (for now)
(also if anyone wants to talk about this league pls do it in my DMs
)
