I still think Brazil has one chance do qualify female athletes because they didn't participate at the South American Games. So they probably chose this and the "PABCON Champion of Champions" as qualifying competitions

5-8 medals I'm gonna say that medals in Athletics, Beach Volleyball and Swimming are very possible. Maybe we have a outside chance in Gymnastics with our male athlete and combat sports due to low number of entries in some categories (?).

lol no. The difference between olympics and now is that in the Olympics there were huge temporary stands at the side of the venue (which I guess weren't necessary for this) and some banners with Rio 2016 logo. BTW, most of the brazilian athletes have trained for months there, which explains some good results here (compared to previous championships).
