Rewatched my favorite film (and arguably the greatest film in history) today. It’s a American film released in 2016 called “Arrival.” It’s probably the most unique and greatest story ever to ever grace American cinema. I was curious if anybody else has watched it. The film is based on communication, time, and philosophical theories that I study, so that may be why I enjoy it so much

I remember reading (and loving) this story in elementary school.

At least they have a good economy, with good healthcare, and good governance. The same can’t be said for many of their neighbors, which are also trying to fight Covid-19.

Apparently, though if there’s any conflict with the World Games, I’ll be choosing them over the Olympics because it would be a better opportunity for me.

Well they’re being hosted by the Thailand Skating Federation, so it’s a nice bonus for the federation. I bet they make some money off of it (which is great for a developing winter sport nation).

Alright, so looking at the new dates for Tokyo2020, there are only three other multi-sports games who now find themselves in direct competition with the Olympics. One is the Summer EYOF in Slovakia. I don’t see a reason to move this event, it’s for youth athletes anyway. Plus, the EOC don’t make a lot of revenue off the EYOF anyway. The second event now in trouble is the Jeux De La Francophonie. The current dates are July 23 - August 1. Obviously those will have to change if they want any relevance. There is a TV market for these games, so it would be wise to move them. Personally, I want the games to moved into the window between the Summer Olympics and Summer Paralympics. The third event in conflict is the World Games. They end on July 25, so I’d just suggest moving them a week forward. If we did those changes, we’d have a sweet multi-sports games calendar for 2021. We’d have games essentially every day from early May to early September

Things like this don’t shock me anymore. We all know he cares about no one but himself. We all know he’s rather incompetent. We all know he’s an ineffectual leader. It just is what it is at this point.

Honestly the ideal way to have a wedding. Should I ever get married (and I don’t intend too), our wedding will private, with only our close family inviting. The ceremony can last no longer then 20 minutes, and we leave straight to a 1 month long honeymoon somewhere far away from anyone that knows us.

Duffy is also a two time youth-B lead champion, so the other journalists around me had already started writing their stories Duffy’s climb was a bit weaker than I expected it to be. He didn’t look comfortable, and he seemed to lack some confidence.

What is everyone’s thought on having a group chat? I mean one off the forum (probably on some app like Discord, Slack, Facebook, etc.). Just to keep in touch when the forum goes down, or when people just want have a chat, etc. I’m sure this isn’t a popular idea, but it’s just one I’ve been thinking about lately. Thoughts?
