    I watched a little bit of the roller sports speed skating training earlier today. I’ll be very interested to know how the venue comes across on TV. It’s essentially a asphalt loop plonked down in the middle of a parking lot outside an old steam power plant.

    It didn’t make the article, but organizers hyped a “clapping” drone show and the appearance of a “human drone” during the opening ceremony.

    I didn’t want to jinx anything, but I just arrived in Birmingham to cover The World Games 2022 It’s my first time attending a multi-sports games in-person, so hopefully it’s an enjoyable experience

    I’ve really enjoyed this edition of the Games. The atmosphere was phenomenal, and the sports entertaining. It’s unfortunate that the results system had some issues, and that there wasn’t an international broadcast made available. Oran2022 wasn’t without its quirks, setbacks, and difficulties, but it was a fun event to follow as a fan. Plus, I got a good story out of it, so hard to be disappointed with that

    Yeah, the atmosphere at these Games has been fantastic. The treatment of French athletes has been unfortunate though. Otherwise, the crowd has been mostly supportive and a big positive for this event.

    They did upload some replays after Wrocław 2017, especially a year after where most of the sessions broadcast were available on the Olympic Channel. Unfortunately, those videos mostly disappeared after updates to the Olympic Channel
