    There’s a significant weather system moving through the area now. I was over at Fistball for the finals, and heard some thunder a few minutes before the bronze medal game was postponed.

    It’s likely a channel in Brazil has the rights. It’s unfortunate if it’s not being shown though. Hopefully replays will be made available globally on the Olympic Channel on another platform at some point.

    These guys gave me a great laugh last night. They were let on to the field for the medal ceremony. Some great photos. Also, there was an American fan heckling Canada, so the German lacrosse team got behind them and started heckling the Americans. It was a rowdy and fun final.

    eviscerates in the men’s lacrosse final. A real “World Cup 2014” moment for the hometown fans. It did draw the largest crowd by far out of all the sports I’ve been to.

    Olympic Channel is picking up Ultiworld’s stream. ISB is only producing semifinals/medal matches.

    You can rewind the stream on YouTube. There will probably be a replay on the Olympic Channel at some point as well. I would have put them third personally, but still happy to see a South American NOC with gold in aerobics.

    Yeah, pétanque wasn’t doing it for me during the Mediterranean Games, but lyonnaise is certainly interesting. I do agree the TV direction could be improved.

    upsets in the final event of lifesaving Electric session. Easily one of my favorite so far.

    Yeah, I saw the wrong logo on one their karatekas uniforms the other day. We all know someone would fall victim to the mix up 😂

    I’m just envious you guys have time to watch events I have been able to get around to a good number of sports, but I have work to do here as well. I’ll share my thoughts on everything later, but right now it’s back to interviews, writing, and schedule designing

    Yep. She was originally the silver medalist before gold and bronze were DSQ. Bart Swings’ entourage wasn’t sure when I talked it over with him. There is normally a ranking generated on time, but it appears they decided to only give out the gold medal.

    Yep. I quite liked his commentary on roller speed skating, but with the understanding he wasn’t too familiar with the sport. I believe he’s doing the commentary for around ten sports.

    If you recognize the voice it’s because he was one of the badminton commentators in Tokyo.

    Breakdancing has sold out of tickets. It will be interesting to see what people think of it.

    What an entertaining race that was! I’m not sure athletes will and officials will like the course, but that created phenomenal racing. What an endorsement for roller speed skating! gets a gold @hckošice

    I was going to comment on how organizers managed to visit both the “Olympic capital” and UCI Headquarters this year, but you beat me to it.

    I love that the road speed skating events are taking place on public roads this time. It’s true to the way I practice the sport

    Just a heads up, IRF (Raquetball) is streaming games up to the semifinals on their Facebook, and IFA (Fistball) is streaming preliminary games on their streaming service.
