  1. Personally I would not make relays count, and if they do, only as a small bonus for the shooting or something (1 point per hit).
  2. For the first time since 2013 (Lucy Glanville, only 24 now yet already retired since 2013/14) Australia will have a woman at the start: Jill Colebourn
  3. So Baldauf's name was mentioned by the Austrian federation president yet he had nothing to do with it? That sucks
  4. What's up with this weird schedule, with everything in February - April except for one in November?
  5. Basically, yes. It 'forces' players to be a bit more creative and also look beyond the regular contenders.
  6. Didn't listen any song yet, but my all-time worst is I think a Slovenian song trying to force everyone to be vegan and call people who eat meat murderers
  7. @wumo26 First of all, biathlon manager game, freaking awesome Last season (or the one before) we did something similar on a Dutch forum, it's fun One idea I got from there, which might be applicable in this case especially when choosing only 5 men and 5 women (we had 10 I think): how about setting some sort of limit on the positions in this season's World Cup? For example, we could only choose two athletes from the top-5 of the World Cup, four from the top-10, something like that. Otherwise you're getting a lot of similar teams, because everyone's gonna pick JTB, Fourcade etc
  8. Yikes, that fall in the final laps of the women's scratch...luckily everyone got away relatively well I think?
  9. The Taschler family in Italy got their son in contact with Lance Armstrong's doctor and said son wasn't any good even with doping, while the father who started the contact was the president of the Antholz World Cup organizing committee....yeah, people can be REALLY stupid
  10. Yeah, apart from obviously having a good offer I find replays and the ability to pause a live stream and continue watching later (like on YouTube) the most important things
  11. Nice to see a Belgian (or semi-Austrian) do this well (not just this week, but the entire season really)
  12. That all sounds pretty awesome, although at least the 2017 Winter Universiade was pretty easy to watch via FISU TV as well.
  13. Lol. I guess it was just coincidence that someone gets involved with a big doping case himself and years later both his son and his trainee get involved in something similar
  14. Thanks, it's been a very long time since I watched this channel (nearly 2 years I think) I'll watch this one tomorrow
  15. Yeah I'm not a fan of the course, but I've seen a really close 15k classic where three guys at some point had a real shot at gold, I saw a really close 10k classic where a teenage girl nearly beat the unbeatable Johaug, there was an insanely close men's skiathlon and a really close women's team sprint. Haters can kiss my sweet balls, I'm enjoying it.
  16. At least it was quite an awesome race, like yesterday. Excellent world championships so far
  17. More like the counter 'One Kazakh' Four Kazakhs on the start list Three Kazakhs started, only Poltoranin to go 1 + 1 = 2
  18. So, 7 people arrested, including 5 athletes (which must be Baldauf, Hauke, Tammjärv, Veerpalu and the Kazakh athlete of which we'll know in a matter of minutes whether or not it's likely to be Poltoranin).
  19. Karel Tammjärv and, surprise, Andreas Veerpalu are the Estonians who DNS today.
