  1. There's a ton of more than excellent riders still without contract for next year. Bahrain-McLaren managed to ignore all that and instead, do this.
  2. Wow. I mean, if one thinks dressage is more dangerous than reining, one really ought to reconsider whether they might be doing something wrong in their dressage..
  3. This shit is rigged. And fraud. My choices were magically changed.
  4. Excellent! And hopefully of course not needed To @Sindo, long may he reign!
  5. Running to the Bahamas without notifying anyone here would be a major dick move Personally I'd try and make sure there is at least one person besides yourself (preferably someone who already has an admin/moderator role here or something) who can for example access things needed to make sure the hosting is taken care of. I've seen it before on another forum: the guy in charge suddenly disappeared, nobody had a clue how to access the necessary things to keep the forum running and so quickly, the forum was dead and buried and nobody could even try to stop it. That would just be a huge shame..
  6. @Sindo Recently I was thinking and wondering whether there is any kind of safeguard to continue Totallympics in case for whatever reason you can't do it anymore? I mean, imagine some idiot steps into his car after drinking alcohol and hits you on the street. Obviously the chance of such a thing happening isn't that high, but is there any sort of backup plan in place, like someone else to step in and assume the role of admin, run the forum or at the very least make sure it stays hosted and such? I know of course this probably won't be an issue anytime soon (or at least I hope so), but I thought it'd be good to ask if there is any sort of Plan B in an emergency situation, or if Totallympics would then suddenly just disappear forever?
  7. To be fair, it was one of the more boring races of the season when looking at it from a non-championship perspective But who cares, by far the one I'd have liked the most out of these four
  8. Chase Elliott Following in the footsteps of dad Bill (1988), and the siren in Dawsonville is going wild!
  9. Sheldon Creed won the Trucks title after a very exciting overtime finish, Austin Cindric took the Xfinity title in an overtime finish as well. The final Cup race of the year is about to start with Chase Elliott (starting from the back), Denny Hamlin and former champions Brad Keselowski and Joey Logano fighting for the title.
  10. Ackermann wins it and denies Quick-Step their 6974th chance for the 100th GT stage win Excellent sprint between by far the two best sprinters in this field.
  11. A little over 10k to go in the Vuelta and with that, the top level cycling season. This whole last week has been a bit of an....anticlimax, after a fantastic start the Vuelta has slowly fizzled out with not much interesting going on except for basically the last 15 minutes yesterday. That was to be expected, considering the choices made by the organizers in terms of the route, hopefully next year they won't decide for a mostly empty last week again.
  12. I'm hoping to be able to send out templates not later than Wednesday. It's a shitload of work but so far so good, although a good number of votes still have to be counted. No word yet on which strongholds they are coming from.
  13. That was some coup by Suzuki, first 1-2 ever in MotoGP (and first since 1982 if one counts 500cc), Mir with most likely a deciding lead and Suzuki takes the lead in the constructors championship from Ducati, which was absolutely nowhere today, like Yamaha. Suzuki really is the only constructor with a bike that is strong everywhere, they've done a fantastic job.
  14. So with (let's assume) four years of Biden now and potentially four years of Harris after that, we might have a period of twelve full years (sixteen even if Harris goes double) without a president who speeches both with good articulation (Biden really doesn't), a comfortable voice to hear (Harris doesn't) and a pleasant and non-monotonous intonation (Trump basically speeches like a reading robot). Obviously that's just a matter of opinion and taste and what they say is more important than voice or articulation, but all of these people make it even more clear what a phenomenal speecher Obama was (and still is).
  15. And the first ever female vice president of a president born in a city where a fictional paper sales company is located!
  16. Like the claims that ballots were drawn over and so fabricated to help Biden, together with a video of ballots being drawn over. They very conventiently left out the explanation (those are damaged ballots and this is how they fix them so they can be counted) and left out the fact (by cutting them out of the video) that both a Democrat and Republic observer were looking right at it and saw nothing wrong going on
  17. And the first female African American, etc. Don't forget to combine all the 'firsts' into even more 'firsts' as the CNN's of this world do
  18. Grandpa Rudy doing as expected, going with fraud, more fraud and 'this whole city is fraudulent!'. The expected thing, a nearly dead fish flailing about. Oh and he is getting more and more fiery, take care for heart attacks
  19. They can, but there has been no serious sign of it. Trump fans come up with signs like "there was a 138k-0 batch for Biden in Michigan!" or "they are drawing over ballots in order to falsify them!", which have been easily debunked/explained.
  20. I feel like by now he'd tie himself to a table leg in the White House or something in order to not leave (one of them tables one can easily lift up)
  21. We know CNN is a bit biased, we know FOX is fairly biased, but this channel right here just hits the ball straight out of the park Wow. Good to have it shown somewhere though, in case I miss it on TV
  22. Yes, like literally every election. One can hardly deny that the emotions around Trump's presidency were higher though, although I'd say it's a bit of an exagerration to go with 'nightmare' and such, but meh. It's not like FOX did anything different in his favour
