  1. There we go with the booing. Nothing at all against the regular English people, or most of these players, but these booing morons deserve such a huge hammering by the Italians.
  2. It must be wonderful, doing your warmup and being all prepared and physically ready to go, and then having to wait an hour because of some song singing, a little some some here and there and some ceremonial stuff and whatnot. They really should make sure the field is entirely ready for the players at latest 30 minutes before kick-off.
  3. Sort of reminds me of season eight of Game of Thrones...
  4. Who would have thought that the English would be the realistic ones (as in, understanding that things like 'jinxes' are not a real thing) But yeah, it's for sure going to England !
  5. Bit of an anticlimax today, although it was fun to see Berrettini really making it a match at least for a while. Now, time to stop this whole '20 Grand Slams' hype and finally get a period which might be a bit more interesting/diverse to follow so it can be about tennis instead of numbers again?
  6. Considering his antics in previous years I think it's more likely he was trying to punch holes in either the car or someone in the car
  7. Excellent news after that Ventoux farce...
  8. Oh and why on earth was there apparently violence between people who like Argentina and people who like Brazil in Bangladesh of all places? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2021_Copa_América_Final
  9. Oh wow, I had no idea Argentina hadn't won this thing since 1993 Used to think it was basically Argentina and Brazil dividing the trophies and some Chile or Colombia taking one in between them every now and then Congratulations to the Argentinians
  10. Trouble in the Dutch team. Dimeo van der Horst, Arvin Slagter, Jessey Voorn and Julian Jaring qualified in the OQT, but the national team coach has selected the first three plus one Ross Bekkering. Jaring has gone to court to try and reclaim his place now.
  11. Good luck in trying to have a match without some way too obvious acting It does seem Argentina has a bit less of that, so...go Argentina, I guess. I wouldn't be impressed by seeing Messi win a millionth prize (that's just as special as the ocean being wet), but Neymar getting the Oscar...no thanks Although mostly I just hope to see some good stuff and nice goals and not a 1-0 or something
  12. Of all the rules, that one seemed the least realistic to maintain anyway At some point people are not going to just clap when someone runs a world record or something.
  13. Hello 2016 men's pole vault competition
  14. Mollema doesn't win often, but when he does, it's a damn nice one
  15. Good to see the awful behaviour during the anthems is at least mentioned. I doubt it'll be a lot better tomorrow, but one can hope..
  16. Usually it is, maybe sometimes with a short delay (half an hour or so, so they can upload the stuff). Usually you can always go straight to the beginning of a broadcast if you're joining later but while it's still live.
  17. That answer is not at all difficult I'll cheer for the Netherlands and there's a good chance @brunamoura will either not care (most likely) or be happy with a Dutch win as well
  18. What a revival by Cavendish Goes to show, basically everyone who's either not close to the top or has fallen far away from the top can be turned into a world leader at The Wolfpack
  19. Roger Kluge is out after a crash with quite a lot of riders involved. SKA, among others, fell down over the edge, although it seems that everyone either didn't fall far or was able to climb back (with injuries here and there, Simon Yates seems to be a victim of always being in the back of the peloton today...)
  20. The only benefit of eating olives is the weight I'd lose by vomiting my stomach's contents out. No thanks.
  21. No, it only says he won't be vaccinated, and there's no requirement saying one needs to be vaccinated in order to compete (at least according to media writing about it). It can be fairly understandable in this case. His justification is not so much being some anti-vaxxer, but about the chance that he'd have a reaction to the vaccine which would make him lose several days of training and so decrease his medal chances. So short before the Olympics, one can at least understand that choice.
  22. It's a matter of getting into a sort of rhythm where throughout the day I want to eat at least two or three pieces of fruit, for health's sake (and because it's tasty)
  23. Now I really am curious which is the one you eat basically every day If it's pineapple I'm jealous, even though pineapple is just as common here (in supermarkets of course) When thinking about Brazilian fruits and such, my mouth starts watering when thinking about açerola juice (be it entirely Brazilian or not, I know I've only tried it there so for me it counts)
  24. Nice win for Politt, after 5305 attacks which basically had no chance in the past years, he finally got his second pro win and first real big one
  25. Which is why Eurosport Player/Discovery+, so you can choose what you want to watch yourself.
