  1. Axel Disasi is of Congolese-Angolan descent. So you know, the least creative football song writers ever needed that https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Axel_Disasi Oh and Eduardo Camavinga is born in Angola. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eduardo_Camavinga Marcus Thuram was born in Italy, but I guess the people in that tweet didn't want to mention that
  2. The Scandinavian Cup in Östersund today isn't shown anywhere, right? Can't find it on SVT's schedule, same for tomorrow and Sunday.
  3. If the very best you and your drunk football buddies can come up with is make a song that says "His mother is from X, his father is from Y and he has a passport from country Z"....well, lol. Good luck at life
  4. [hide] Knockout Stage December 3rd - December 18th, 2022 Third-Place Match Date & Time (GMT +3) Nation 1 T1 T2 Nation 2 December 17th 2022, h. 18:00 Croatia 0 1 Morocco Final Date & Time (GMT +3) Nation 1 T1 T2 Nation 2 December 18th 2022, h. 18:00 Argentina 0 2 France [/hide]
  5. You don't mean those things that were blown up - possibly some mistranslation, possibly media looking for more than there actually was - as being 'provocative', whereas they were mostly just answers to specific questions? Like Van Gaal talking about a plan when playing against Messi, after being asked about a plan for playing Messi.
  6. Nope, same for everyone. Hence why I've been rather strongly against for example Dafne Schippers in athletics ever since (mostly) her Rio 2016 antics and shoe-throwing nonsense. Or Cristiano Ronaldo being the very first one to walk off the field after their loss, even though he is (supposed to be) the captain of the team.
  7. It's been in the news left, right and centre though (just like all of these scenes after every match of Morocco especially after the Belgium match), instead of 'no word'.
  8. Very disappointing semis in terms of excitement, hopefully the final delivers more than this.
  9. This is the moment where the coach should really, really take Mbappe out of the match. Frustrations are already starting to appear, you don't want your star player against this...
  10. Fantastic little pass straight through the entire defense
  11. So now Mbappe plays with one warm and one cool shoe
  12. It's been a while since France got 12 points..
  13. It's not like Morocco isn't creating chances...
  14. Perfectly timed sliding if ever I've seen one Too bad it also was a bit of an unfortunate hit.
  15. Right, the atmosphere during the French anthem makes it clear: go France, make every single booing and whistling loser (I assume a lot of the 13.000 holders of an entirely free ticket) go home disappointed
  16. Thanks (and LDOG) for the explanation We were just curious, especially because many of those doing it seemed to be entirely uninterested and just casually looking around, instead of really being into it. That's what raised the most curiousity I've never seen it in other countries by the way, although maybe other South Americans do it as well (which I don't really watch much outside of the World Cup).
  17. Honestly by now being really surprised by any of the three remaining teams would suggest one didn't really pay attention No, they don't all have the same chance of course, but counting out Morocco again after all they've done so far? Look where that got the Portuguese team.
  18. And even those had at least one match where they were utterly awful...
  19. If you thought that was interesting, here is the entry list for next weekend...he's on it for the 10k https://www.isu.org/docman-documents-links/isu-files/event-documents/speed-skating-8/2022-23-2/world-cups-23/announcements-133/30294-isu-world-cup-speed-skating-4-calgary-2022-entry-list/file Also Sigurd Henriksen of course, who we might expect to do a very, very serious attack on Sven Kramer's by now ancient world junior record (13:09).
  20. Yeah ok, right, no TV coverage I assume Live results though!
  21. On FINA's YT channel? I'll try and see which of my VPN's countries works, because YouTube as a player beats everything else
  22. Duuuuuude. You're forgetting one of the best locations of all.
  23. The usual question with these things: where can it be (re)watched? Doesn't seem to be on All-Aquatics. Edit: after logging in, there it is
