  1. Is that the Sabalenka who consistently has said she doesn't support the war? Also, not weird she eventually ends up losing big, considering her tragedy earlier this week.
  2. Sure, but I am baffled by this Wikipedia-only fight somehow finding it's way to Totallympics, instead of staying there. For people who aren't really into the minute details of editing Wiki pages, this thread is so incredibly....odd
  3. One of the most 'interesting' entries for me was the Mexican one by the way. It started fantastically fun and after 20 seconds I was convinced it'd score high on my list, but then the singing started and was just a bit too 'flat' and repetitive for me (like it never really gets going, for my taste at least), whereas the fun first part never really came back later on If they have more songs where that first part features more heavily, I'd love to hear them
  4. It also kind of felt like this might be the TISC with the largest number of votes being posted by the organizer instead of the actual voters. Too bad so many juries were apparently busy (too bad for them especially, because I think we here all had fun as always )
  5. Right, time for bed, alarm for F1 in Australia goes in under 6 hours
  6. Italy it is Congratulations, fantastically fun song!
  7. I don't think I've ever seen it this close between three countries, all of whom I had in my top-5
  8. Somehow more people voting should make it slightly more predictable though
  9. Possibly, but I'm loving the tension anyway
  10. Right, so theoretically Sweden can still get to 1st place, only to be kicked out bij New Zealand
  11. They did lose their spot on The Committee though, if I'm not mistaken....(since it went underground)
  12. Keep in mind Sweden can still grab it too, if New Zealand doesn't get points and Sweden gets more than 8....not at all impossible Awesome to still have three very realistic winners left with only a half set of votes left to go
  13. Of course Every single one can decide it now, I think it would be the first time in TISC history to have such a close decider at the end simply be thrown online like it's the 12th set of votes or something, this great day of TISC deserves a climax
  14. I do kind of regret not counting the medals now....no idea what happens in case of a tie
  15. This last set of votes really can not be thrown online quickly in three posts, no way, that would be anti-TISC
  16. Calm down @Henry_Leon, give us a bit of time for suspense
  17. Oh wow, it might not be so noticeable this time, but the suspense in this specific set of votes is bizarre 12 to Italy and it's over, no 12 points to Italy and Italy can shoot off their own foot.
  18. I hope not Italy I liked Italy, but if the 12 don't go to Italy, this race is really getting amazingly tight.
  19. Lovely, for now I only checked track cycling (because even UCI often has troubles giving good schedules for that), and that looks perfect, so for now it looks like this could be a lot easier than it was for Tokyo
  20. Well, with 139 points for the leader, 5 for Slovakia and only 8 sets of votes to come...the win is in fact impossible, unfortunately
  21. 23 countries left with a theoretical chance to win, now it'll go down fast of course
  22. But I haven't seen the movie (and simply am not planning to), so for me it kind of feels like "I'm singing about being a doll"....alright I prefer this one about being a doll, that's a little more my tempo
  23. Whoops, I was keeping track of the scores on that leaderboard website during the day (like last time, when it was useful as a sort of backup), but now I realize I am 1 set of votes behind....but yeah, no idea which one Is there a set of votes where New Zealand got 12 points, Italy 11, Sweden 8 and Portugal 5?
  24. They were my second reserve I thought the singing was beautiful, I really liked it in terms of the voice alone, but I had no idea what it was about and it seemed a bit like....I don't know, going on about nothing, like singing it with the voice of a beautiful love song, but without actually telling something Can't really find the words to describe exactly what I feel about it, but I think this is one of the songs where if it was a language I do not understand, I would have scored it big.
