  1. Wait, what? India will pay 300 million for 10-15 games of cricket and practically not care for anything else?
  2. So we are heading to an all Jumbo podium right Cycling is quickly becoming from one of the most unpredictable sports to F1. We only need orders from the boxes and a newspaper team photo finish at the end.
  3. @Bulgaria87 Nice to see a fellow Bulgarian join the family (yes, this is the Fast & Furious of sporting forums ). Don't be shy to join the discussions and share what you like to watch and follow.
  4. So Germany dedicated their full sporting force to become a basketball super power. Maybe this explains the decline in 15 other sports.
  5. Well this is a bummer... There will probably be links available, but i doubt they will be the 3/4 mats at once.
  6. Full results are up on WIKI Good performance for Ivan Dimov, which climbs him in the rankings. I think he could have done 3-4 kg more and be even in a better position.
  7. Both of our rowers made the 1/2, so mission accomplished. Now get those quotas.
  8. Quick tally so far, for the BG team, compared to Tokyo. Of course it's early in the qualification timeframe, so can't be sure if we will be over the Tokyo number. But, if i had to make a guess, probably around 60% of chance we will beat it. Sports - BG quotas Tokyo Paris Total 42 15 Rhythmic Gymnastics 7 7 Wrestling 7 Athletics 5 Swimming 5 2 Badminton 3 Boxing 3 3 Judo 3 Shooting 3 2 Weightlifting 2 Artistic Gymnastics 1 Canoeing 1 1 Karate 1 Table Tennis 1 Archery - Syncro Swimming - Diving - Open Water Swimming - Water Polo - Basketball - Breaking - Cycling - Equestrian - Fencing - Field Hockey - Football - Golf - Trampoline - Handball - Judo - Modern Pentathlon - Rowing - Rugby 7s - Sailing - Skateboarding - Sport Climbing - Surfing - Taekwondo - Tennis - Triathlon - Volleyball -
  9. Ostapenko just robbed us from a much more interesting match. Pathetic display..
  10. 3 full week Olympics is probably the only good news i have seen. It's something i have said should happen for a while now. It will suck for the athletes that they will be kicked out earlier, but if we can get a more sparsed schedule i can live with that. Every host including their backyard niche sports is a different beer...
  11. Our canoeing federation received a letter, that we have obtained a quota in the women's K1 500 m. Don't know how that happened.
  12. Nah, i'm very confident both will still be there.
  13. "Welcome back Newcastle after 21 years to the CL. Now here is group F for you with Milan, Dortmund and PSG"
  14. Time to remind people, that Bulgaria made the final, or 1/2 at every youth/junior Euro/World tournaments this summer (alongside Italy) Doesn't really matter though, as the same players will magically start losing, when they turn 20, to your average Spanish, Ukrainian, Turkish, Czechian teams, who have "come out of nowhere". It's actually an art of itself how Bulgaria can turn natural, uncut diamonds into braindead, no self esteem, fragile mentality wankers.
  15. We are just waiting for the right opponent to show our true gameplay, like a Chinese Taipei or Cabo Verde
  16. Good to see, that we are smoothing our chances for the Schengen zone with a red carpet welcoming for Holland's 1/2
  17. And we have our first big surprise already as Rune loses to Carballes Baena.
  18. I thought the USofA were with their C team or something at this World Cup? Doesn't look like much hurdle so far.
  19. Ah young blood, some of us old geezers are approaching 10 years. If not past, i actually don't remember, when i registered in the old site.
  20. Safe to say you haven't found the Politics thread yet
  21. We did not deserve to win this match, pity for .. This must be one of the most bizarre tournament performances of a team, that i have followed. In every match we are playing sets, not points, whole sets with awful, awful performance, on a school level of awful, yet somehow, someway, we managed to get 5 wins. We beat all teams, that we should have beaten, which never happens. At the previous Euro we also got 4 wins in the group, before that debacle against in the 1/8, with waiting in the 1/4. And everything was lining up perfectly for a laughing repeat, but surprisingly not. is going to make a swift 3:0 and we can concentrate on the men's Euro.
  22. Ok, who put the school team in play. Put them out of their misery already.
  23. Let's see, if by set 3 they can remember how to play volleyball. Justified result so far.
  24. From this angle the team looks prepared. Now let's see how will they play.
