  1. Very happy to see Indonesia back, and by looks of it, there is a big fan interest, unlike some other places F1 and MotoGP tried expanding. I'm usually always pro wet races, but this time it was a small pity for the fans there. It was still a good race, but after a 25 years absence, a dry more dynamic race would have been a blast for the people.
  2. I'm here for Pogacar winning every race he enters this year, including Milano-San Remo
  3. Finally have time to sit and watch something. First thing i see it this new laser line censor thingy , which looks very dubious There are a whole bunch more no marks jumps, than there are good jumps.

  5. The new DH track they've come up with in Courchevel looked very nice and with some big jumps, which is always appreciated. I liked it a lot and hopefully it will make for a fun World Championship in a years time. Nice that they let the women have a go at it as well, given that their Worlds will be at Meribel.
  6. Pretty sure Balkans doesn't include us, as Arena Sport doesn't operate here, so you can try that. But i will have to check YT tomorrow to be sure.
  7. And we are live with the unofficial sixth Monument Some big names absent for one reason or another, but still a great race is to be expected.
  8. Austrians 1,2,3 in the start list and each one DNFs
  9. Firstly WWE is dog shit, AEW is the real deal! Second, I'm sure they will be very concerned with the hundred streams available for the PPV on the internet. This is the same as Hollywood stopping releases, when in reality Russian cinemas could just download the movie and play it it regardless, if they'd like. What would they do, sanction them more. I haven't looked, but there are probably releases of The Batman uploaded in the trackers already.
  10. The fuel "games" have begun here. Prices up 20% and climbing with every day. Lines forming and reserves being made. And in a week, the holy rule of "When fuel price goes up, price of everything else goes up as well" will kick in and then watch the public's opinion with interest. Waiting for the warm weather to come, to go full Netherlands with the bikes from now on it seems.
  11. Only the second classic of the season and already things went to the wire, as Laporte and the breakaways were passes in the last 25 metres in Kuurne Jakobsen gets the win, which is already his fifth of the year. Looks like he won't be forfeiting the Tour spot to Cavendish just yet.
  12. Ugh Albert, that was an unfortunate slip and DNF.. Just as he was starting to get more consistent results and bettering his start number too.
  13. Two stage wins and a second overall UAE Tour victory for Tadej Pogacar and business is back to normal in the new season. We know, that he has been scary good individually, but this year he is going to have a team to back him up as well. Almeida, Bennett, Soler coming in, along with Majka, Bjerg, Hirschi and Jumbo-Visma / Sky are starting to worry about their super-team statuses. Now on to Omloop and the non-official start of the season!
  14. Yes, i think it would be good to postpone the contest to the summer, when hopefully things are returned to normal. Don't think many people are having the contest on their mind right now.
  15. Two Spaniards in the second run on a men's slalom!
  16. Ledecka taking the lead a week later than expected for her. Interesting to see, if there will be others to hit a good result (form) this week, that didn't manage in Beijing.
  17. I'm surprised Goggia is starting today, thought she'd take more time off to heal and make a push in the last starts. Guess she doesn't want Sutter to take the lead for the small globe, but she will shorten the distance today.
  18. Out of everyone that Djokovic could have lost to, i wouldn't have bet, it would be against Vesely Haven't watched the match, but maybe the lack of matches has played some role. New number 1, beside the Big 3 (and Murray) in 17-18 years.
  19. I will go out on a limb and say that Czechia wasn't playing with the squad, that was at the Olympics. Nevertheless, an important win, that still keeps our changes of advancing to the next round. It could have been a double digit win, before the rematch on sunday, but, if they play like tonight, we could go for another win.
  20. Doesn't Putin know, that only the West can announce independent states, ala Montenegro and Kosovo. He should have read the rulebook.
  21. Since the Games are officially over, i thought i could do a quick check on the activity here, like i did for Tokyo in the summer. Have compared the replies for each sport with the 2018 Games, with the notion of course, that the current threads can see some additional comments, but nothing drastic after today, since people will move on. In general there is a slight decrease, with luge and biathlon taking the biggest hits.
  22. Haven't looked at the songs yet, but passed through the betting odds and saw that Spain and Poland are at the top-ish, with the UK around 10-ish. Very interesting
