  13. Most of these, thankfully, have clear judging guidelines. Unlike breakdancing, which is just picking the 'cooler' routine. So I guess breakdancing will be the Olympic version of the Nobel prize.
  14. For a second I thought you wrote "remindwoodu". I like it.
  15. Yeah, apparently lots of fans lost their shit over Mason starting as P.I., without even bothering to see if that was supposed to be a part of character development all along. And not all reboots are inferior by design. Usually I am not a big fan of them, but this one seems to be much less formulaic than the original. Characters are quite interesting, with plenty of depth to them. It gave me Chinatown vibes - a huge plus in my book.

  17. New Perry Mason starts quite slow, but then just explodes. I'm impressed. Hooked and waiting for Season 2.
  18. It's Roglič.
  19. Apparently Eugene Wang transferred his individual spot to Hazin... https://www.ittf.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/Tokyo_2020_MS_2020_04_22.pdf
  20. Well, alpine skiing / marathon is still the most impressive combo IMO. Especially given that Njeim qualified in both sports on merit.
  21. Artistic segments can either be very intriguing to watch (Beijing) or incredibly boring (Rio). Not a fan of the oaths. We all know that both athletes and referees will cheat either way.
  22. Starting this weekend, Hungary will be hosting European Dressage Championships for Ponies, Children, Juniors, Young Riders *and* U25. The festivities will last almost to the end of the month (August 9-30). Here are the entry lists... Ponies Children Juniors Young Riders U25
  23. Great. They stole our format.
  24. Visions of Eight (Munich 1972) becomes my favorite artistic Olympic film. Not surprising, given that it was a collaboration of some star directors. Meanwhile, Beijing 2008 film is trash. It's literally almost 2 hours of nothing. For a film which claims that over 60,000 hours of Olympic footage was created, it sure had a lot of narration happening off-screen.
