  1. Well, that seems pretty extreme. Should 1+1 carry more points than 12+0? Middle ground would be just ensuring that a song which scored from both jurors must be given points from that jury, if not already represented. So, for example, if a song with 5+0 is 12th combined and scheduled to get one (1) point, but there is another song with 2+2, then that other song gets pushed up to earn the final point. If there is another song with 1+1, then both those move up into the points territory, instead of the two lowest-scoring songs which earned points from only one member.
  2. Anyways, here is the updated all-time jury medal table... gained most places after Poland 2021.
  3. This suggestion should only be for the two-member juries, in my opinion.
  4. Started updating the all-time medal tables... Fun fact: Team Challenge victory meant the United States finally clinched their first ever TISC gold medal! @dezbee2008 @Olympian1010 There were no first-time medalists on the Grand Final podium. Meanwhile, Kazakhstan earned their first Team Challenge medal.
  5. Algeria is seriously stacking up useless quotas for this edition. There should really be a limit at weak continental qualifiers.
  6. Qualifier moved to Barcelona (June 10-13). https://www.insidethegames.biz/articles/1106995/artistic-swimming
  7. Sitting in 7th after dressage day 1 are Fylicia Barr & Galoway Sunrise. Her one and only horse, whom she acquired over a suspicious Craigslist ad for $500 over a decade ago. Just proving for the umpteenth time that the mainstream conception of equestrian sport is just wrong.
  8. Bang. Marilyn Little sets the new venue record of 21.70. If only she was a little more consistent across the country...
  9. Interesting first session. Shout-out to Karl Slezak. He messed up all four flying changes, as probably expected, but really nailed everything else. Well done! This is the kind of test that has Olympic selection written all over it, provided he delivers in his preferred jumping phases.
  10. Hello Kentucky #TheBestWeekendAllYear
  11. They should just be honest and call it "Self-indulgent, together".
  12. Another bronze medal match for Slovakia, but this time I cheer for San Marino.
  13. Why aren't these options in alphabetic order?
  14. Already two quotas for Madagascar?
  15. are the only ones in the golden group.
  16. Which pretty much confirms that James/Cipres retired because of... Cipres.
  17. That would be just dumb. FIG even made a video explaining the qualification system in detail. Unless Hungary has some massively talented junior coming through, perhaps...?
  18. Good draw for Honduras, I think.
  19. World champion SImone Blum. https://www.worldofshowjumping.com/en/News/No-Olympics-for-Simone-Blum-and-DSP-Alice.html
  20. A lot of optimism here. Whole teams are getting removed for one positive test (remember Bulgarian biathlon, Worlds in handball, etc). We will count them in hundreds, absolutely.
  21. Technically this means: Individual jumping +1 -1
  22. Sri Lanka is again qualified in equestrian following the CAS ruling
  23. JUSTICE IS SERVED CAS announced that Mathilda Karlsson will have her points reinstated. She is therefore qualified for the Olympic Games. Honestly, it is disgusting how an international federation decided to punish athletes for their own administrative shortcomings and mistakes. And then that decision got upheld by the FEI tribunal as well! Cases like these should never have to appear before CAS. https://www.worldofshowjumping.com/en/News/Ranking-points-reinstated-for-Andrea-Herck-and-Mathilda-Karlsson-after-successful-appeals-to-the-Court-of-Arbitration-for-Sport.html
