To be fair, I'm pretty sure that our girls weren't trying to win.

But it's imposible to lose if the rivals don't score a point, and Hunbgary played pretty bad their last minutes.

Medals were very evenly distributed, 8 nations each with 15 - 20 medals. Canada and Norway (and Switzerland) were rather disappointing.
Medal winners that are most likely to shine at the 2026 winter olympics (in my opinion):
    Mao Shimada (women's figure skating)
    Shin Ji-a (women's figure skating)
Angel Daleman (women's speed skating/short track)
    Taja Bodlaj (women's ski jumping)
    Ingvild Midtskogen (women's ski jumping)

I think in handball Germany will finish 5th or 6th at the european championships and (if they qualify) it will be roughly the same in Paris. France, Denmark and Norway all have more quality, so normally Germany should beat them maybe 2-3 times out of 10. Spain and Sweden also have more quality in my opinion, but Germany might be able to beat them 3-4 times out of 10.

Men's basketball: The goal should be to win a medal. I think the US, Canada and maybe also France/Serbia should be favored over Germany.
Women's basketball: Not qualifying would be a disappointment and if they should qualify, then they should aim at making it ouf of the group.
Men's volleyball: The goal should be to make it out of the group.
Women's volleyball: Don't see any chance that they will qualify.
Men's football: Won't compete in Paris.
Women's football: I think it is pretty unlikely that they will qualify.
Men's hockey: The goal should be to win a minor medal (if they qualify).
Women's hockey: The goal should be to win a minor medal (if they qualify).
    Men's/Women's water polo/rugby: Won't compete in Paris
Women's handball: The goal should be to qualify and then to make it out of the group.
Overall: The goal should be to win 2-3 medals in team sports.

Yes, i vividly remember all those discussions about human rights violations by China (Uyghurs), Myanmar (Rohingya), Turkey (Kurds) or Azerbaijan (Armenians).
Obviously you are happy playing in the sandbox with the other children, but once you grow up you will hopefully realize that people in power only care about their interests, no remotely powerful person (regardless of nationality) really gives a shit about human rights. Human rights are used as a tool to hide that is is only about power/money. If everyone would just concentrate on negotiations that focus on their interests, it would save us a lot of trouble/hypocrisy, but obviously the people in power don't want the rest of the population to realize this (because then they would be less willing to act against their own interest, just because it is "the right thing to do").

Nope, the reason why muslim countries are trash is the inferior intelligence of their population (high level of inbreeding) and the high level of religious observance. Europeans freed themselves from religion centuries ago. Now countries like Algeria can keep all those resources and yet they are still extremely poor, so maybe it is time to find a new scapegoat. If you want to stop being poor, you should get rid of relgious fanaticism. Muslim regions used to be much more competitive, but then they chose religion over enlightenment. Also you should look into how much europeans actually earned with their colonies and if you want to lead an honest discussion you should also mention the cost of everything that europeans built in those countries (infrastructure). You should also look at the GDP per capita of countries that were never colonized and ask yourself why the GDP per capita in those countries isn't higher than the GDP per capita in countries that were colonized.

I think it would make you are more productive member of society if you would realize that this is just your opinion and that it will be very difficult (to say the least) for you to prove (if you can't prove X, then you can't treat X as a fact) that someone/something is awful. How would you measure/quantify the attribute "awful"?

Yes, no leader (muslim countries included) would have a problem if all people in the Gaza strip would be killed. The only thing they care about is not having to take in more refugees. Other muslim countries clearly don't give a shit about palestinians, otherwise the least thing they should do is to provide organizations like UNRWA with more money. Israeli leaders can do whatever they want as long as they don't make this the problem of anyone else (by creating a new wave of refugees).
