yesss!!! maybe even a little bit too early I guess...

however, I can't wait for it (but I'm going to ignore the first 2 rounds of the Champions Hockey League, since they are going to be played during the second week of the Olympics :yikes:)...

I'm going to start my "personal" hockey season only with the KHL opener, on Monday, August 22nd...:d

Luckily i don't really care about summer olympics :d  So i can start my hockey season early

here are the explanations about IIHF world ranking. http://www.iihf.com/home-of-hockey/championships/world-ranking/

in fact they use the last 4 world championships + last olympics.

they count 25% of points of 2013 WCh, 50% of points of 2014 WCH, 75% of points of 2015 WCH and 100% of points of 2016 WCh + 100% of olympics Sochi 2014 tournament.

so thats why Russia is still ahead.

    That's seems rather stupid

Congratulation africaboy on second win this season!

Silver medal goes to Slovenia, mihamiha was unfortunate with his gold medal pick and lost top position by one point only. But if I remember well, it was long road for him and Slovenia overall to win another medal in Totallympics Prediction Contests. Congratulations! :hatoff:

And finally, hckosice wins his historic first medal and first medal ever for Slovakia! And it is in sport he loves the most! Fantastic, congratulations on success

Sad for Agger who was close to medal position.... good run for gvaisakh and best ever placement for MCMXC if I am not mistaken...

But true "loser" of the contest is definitely Finnator123. If he managed to post predictions for day 1 too, I am sure gold medal would be his. :( Better luck next time

If Finland won by 1, order would be mihamiha-Agger-Finnator123; if Finland won by 2 or more it would be Agger-mihamiha-Finnator123.

    Thank you everyone who played!

    Cheers!

ARE YOU SAYING THAT CONNOR MCDAVID RUINED MY CHANCES FOR A MEDAL
