  1. I think 20 make it
  2. The world leader this year in pole vault just flopped at 5.82,after stating 4 guys could win the comp.
  3. Typical
  4. Good to know it works in Lithuania aswell
  5. https://www.redbull.com/int-en/live/mondo-classic-2024
  6. 23 year old Antonia Kinzel[Nationality should be clear] strikes in the women's discus by throwing 60.92 in her first comp of the season, achieving a pb,previous pb was in 2022.Second furthest throw of the season so far.
  7. Mika Sosna the under 20 world record holder opens his season with 59.98,5th best throw as the second month of the season begins.good for him to have a normal opener since he had no mark in his first two comps last year, then went right out to his pb of 65.57 and simply couldn't back that up when it mattered, high 62 in a few german comps,no mark to finish the season at the german championships.Perhaps a more stable first start to the year will set the right tone this time.
  8. ''You can't teach sexual behaviour to europeans'' I'M SORRY,WHAT ?
  9. Well No Connor Bell at the Capital classic much to my sadness and surprise. Not a bad result by the winner of the comp by Masateru Yugami by his own standarts, 59.14 is just below his 10 best ever result and he's not that far off His season's best from last year already which was 59.98[his third best throw in a comp].Interesting to see that unlike other Japanese discus throwers,he does compete outside of Japan sometimes.
  10. I was wondering about the wind In Italy at this time of year,From the video of the throw on instagram,i didn't see a whole lot of wind,if any really, but i could be wrong.Yeah i'm not predicting him medaling at the olympics from this one comp, that's for sure, lol.Him even making the olympics isn't even a sure thing but that's a pretty great start to a season.
  11. Highlighting Two male Italian discus throwers today. First Off-Enrico Saccomano who started his season of with 59.87,the reasons i think he's worth mentioning Is because he's just 22[going to turn 23 on February 12.],He has never thrown the 2kg discus so far in his first contest of a season, and it's his fifth best result ever with his Pb being 60.99,from the 2022 season in the Summer, not predicting he's gonna do anything crazy this year but already seemingly not that far off his pb at the very start of the season looks like a good sign. And the main one is- Alessio Mannuci Who threw his new PB of 64.19 in that same season opener two days ago[he will turn 26 in early July].Previous Pb was 63.61 from mid July of last year,7 off his current 10 best Marks came from 2023.Obviously it's huge to get a pb in the first comp of the year,He's 10th on the all time Italian Men's discus list, but of the ones still competing,Absolutely looks like the number one right now.Takes second place on the discus world list for this year behind Connor Bell at the moment,I know the Germans will be having their winter championships near the end of February,Ceh will Probably compete in His Winter throwing champs which will be on the 17th,But I think Alessio is likely going to stay in the top 10 for at least February and is worth keeping an eye on to see how he progresses through the season.
  12. Good team races to finish the championships off for Team Lithuania.Strolia was great on both the skis and shooting today,Kočergina was also good on the track, and same as Strolia with the shooting, got the team back into the top 10 after so many faults from so many teams at the end. Fomin was a beast in shooting today 20 out of 20 is stunning.it does suck a little that Lydia apparently experienced Stomach pains today,so by the last shooting i'm sure it was a horrible time for her but still managed to finish in 10th. Also the 8 place in european champs is what was needed for funding,so yay all ended on a great note.
  13. And it was a 1 cm pb also,cool.
  14. Yay our High jumper won in Astana with 1.92
  15. Watching BIathlon right now,i was watching it but it was taking too long to get to the good stuff
  16. LOL,i think the American pole vaulter was just skipped over and the commentator introduced Duplantis twice, lmao
  17. Well we got 22 quotas as of right now,i'm not sure many more will be joining, could be the smallest team we ever send to a Summer olympics.
  18. Gabriela Hanulakova-died three days ago,at just 66.Holds the Slovak Discus [64m exactly] and shot put records[16.98]from 1984 and 1985.
  19. Would you Like to Correct yourself ? Given that Lidia is about to officially finish 7
  20. Denia Caballero,2015 world champion,Rio games bronze medalist,2019 Worlds silver medalist,Opens her season with 63.76 to take the very early world lead.she only did better two times late last season as of recent years, perhaps the form might finally be coming back ?
  21. Swimming Stans seem like the most misreable sport people possible ''this athlete should be higher,no this athlete should be higher'' Am i wrong to assume all of those types are the ones living in the basements 400 pounds scarfing nachos down, while pretending their experts ?
  22. Knut hjeltnes-Norwegian discus thrower,4X olympian,4th in the 1984 olympics,The Norwegian record holder with 69.62.[that's most likely gonna hold up for a loooooooooooooooong time]
  23. The injection of some new talent with the women seems to have helped out,and Vytautas seems to have recovered from his illnesses[agreed, estonian men seem to be the only ones who can't produce anything stunning]
  24. I'm coming back with my discus updates. One solid result on the men's side,Connor Bell opened his season with 65.39,his fourth best ever result.
